I got this for use in my California Kingsnake's enclosure, and I got the super long option because, well, it was an option available, so I guess I figured "go big or go home." And it's a great ladder, for sure, but one of the qualities that makes it great is also the quality that makes it a bit less great.And that is that the material connecting all of the pieces is a flexible metal cable. So on one hand, I trust that it will hold up to frequent use and won't fall apart easily, but the downside there is that because the ends are secured with metal clamps, it's not possible to adjust the length at all. So this super long ladder will be great once I upgrade my kingsnake's enclosure, but right now, it would be handy if I could open the ends of this and remove some of the length to fit it to his current enclosure.So like I said, the cables make it nice and sturdy, but it would be nice if the whole thing was adjustable.Overall, though, I really like this ladder, and I'm excited to make it work for him and give him more fun climbing areas :)

I'm so glad that I found this rope ladder of this length. We needed a super long one that could extend from one end of a cage to another cage so that our birds could cross when outside of their cages. This was perfect, and the size is made for smaller to medium size birds like conures. I also love that the entire ladder (except for the end clasps) is made of wood, making it safer for the birds. We've seen other rope ladders that were made of chain links, which is very dangerous for birdie's feet if they get stuck in the links.

This is a fun and well made wooden ladder!We got the 12" one and hung it in our pet rat cage and they use it all the time. It's easy to wipe down the wood and the hooks on all 4 of the corners are easy and secure to hook onto parts of the cage.This would be great for any small rodent or bird cage. So far they haven't been chewing on it, just using it to cross over between the shelfs.Great price point for the quality of this ladder and it's a fun addition to the enclosure.

I like that this attaches with metal hooks. Makes it very convenient to use. I got this for my mice to have more items to climb on and get exercise. They seem to enjoy it. Perfect for what I needed it for. I would recommend to others.

This ladder is perfect for my rats' cage! My rats love to use this to climb up and down to the different levels. Easily attaches to the sides of the cage with the attached hooks. Great size to go from one side to the other of the Critter Nation sized cages. Durable enough for a couple rats at a time. Great price!

So far my cockatoo has played with this a few times - she has had other ladders and this is the first one that she's had that's this long, but much more narrow and much thinner too - as far as wood and how it's made... She seems to like it -it's only been a week... it takes her time to warm up to these things... I do feel like once she starts chomping on the beads they're all going to fall off at the same time.. not sure... For now it's fun and she likes to climb and play a bit.. it's a little small for her....
