I decided to change the trans fluid in my 2010 and bought this. I waited for cool weather in FL and went to install it today. I spent 4 hours and eventually I'm going to throw it out!First, the whole assemble is 6-12 inches too short. Plus there is no metal firewall to mount to. I spent some time fabricating a bracket but being too short,I had to attempt to mount it below the heater hoses, where there's nothing to attach a bracket to.Then, the thing just pops out of the trans! It needs a clip and 2 springs and clips to the trans pan bolts, something to hold it into the transmission. This piece of junk is just too "universal", find something that someone actually got to work! Then, the inner is about 3/4" too short, the fluid just touches the tip! I thought I could loosen the set screw at the top and drop the inner cable that 3/4", but no, the set screw is the end of the cable.Brutal day, $90 lost. I should just have had Chevy Dealer do the trans service for about the same price. I will never buy anything with the Lokar name on it.Now I see they make longer ones, thanks for nothing.
