The Logitech Combo Touch iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) (2024) is a great keyboard case. The detachable backlit keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the kickstand is adjustable for different angles. I love how it switches between typing and tablet mode easily. The Midnight Black design looks sleek, and the case offers solid protection. Overall, it’s a great accessory for the iPad Pro.

The Logitech Combo Touch has completely changed how I use my iPad Pro 13-inch (M4). The keyboard is super comfortable to type on, with a great feel and backlit keys that make it easy to work in any lighting. The trackpad is smooth and responsive, making navigation effortless, just like using a laptop. I also love how versatile it is, the keyboard is detachable, and the built-in stand offers multiple viewing angles, making it perfect for work, browsing, or watching content. It also feels really sturdy and protective without adding too much bulk. If you’re looking for a high-quality keyboard case that balances functionality and style, this is definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

After extensive research, I decided to purchase the Logitech Combo Touch instead of the Apple Magic Keyboard or ESR alternative. While its functionality and performance are impressive, the quality of this product is extremely disappointing.Pros: • Functionality: This keyboard is versatile and practical. You can use it as a keyboard, fold it back to function as a regular case, or detach it entirely when it feels heavy. • Performance: The keyboard has a premium feel, and the detachable design adds convenience.Cons: 1. Build Quality: Within two weeks, one of the key covers randomly came off. I contacted Amazon, and they redirected me to Logitech. The customer service process was tedious, requiring several emails, proof submissions, and information exchanges over a week. After returning the original product, I had to wait two more weeks for a replacement. During this time, I couldn’t use my iPad for fear of damaging it further. 2. Durability: The case scratches easily, and the black color highlights every mark. Despite using it gently, it looked like a year-old product within just two weeks of careful use.Recommendation:If you’re debating between this and other keyboard cases, do not buy this product. Consider the ESR option for better value or, if your budget allows, the Apple Magic Keyboard paired with a simple Amazon case. While the Logitech Combo Touch excels in functionality, its poor quality and durability make it a frustrating investment.

Pros:- Protective case.- Does not use Bluetooth, rather the connector pins on the back of the iPad (similar to Apple Magic Keyboard).- Detachable keyboard (this one is huge).- Multi-angle stand.- Stylish.- Allows Apple Pencil Pro to charge.- Premium product.Cons:- Expensive.- Fingerprint magnet!Personal experience:As someone who does not use the keyboard frequently, I enjoy the fact that this keyboard is detachable and allows me to use the iPad like a tablet. The stand on the case is super adjustable, allowing multi-angle use. It is also pretty sturdy for what it is.However this generation of case has a new material that is very similar to the Magic Keyboard, kind of like faux leather feeling. It attracts a lot of finger prints. As well as the backing of the keyboard portion of the case has a metal backplate (likely for rigidity) that also attracts fingerprints like crazy. However this wasn't a major issue for me, a microfiber cloth removed the fingerprints easily.Overall the biggest downside is the high price and the fingerprints. If you can overlook those two aspects and you want a high quality keyboard-case for your precious iPad, I highly recommend this option!

It is impossible for the box to remain beautiful. Fingerprints are impossible to remove. No matter how much you wash it, it doesn't leave. My husband has the old fabric version and it was perfect! This one is just horrible! Impossible to look professional with an always stained box. Really a shame because otherwise the operation of the box/keyboard is #1.

Overall, it’s exactly what the product says it is. It comes with a solid case, a good keyboard, and a reasonable trackpad for the price you pay. There are only two caveats:(1) You need to keep in mind that a proper flat surface is needed to use the keyboard. It flexes pretty easily, although it never gave me the impression it would break. The challenge is that when the keyboard flexes, you’ll start to get false trackpad clicks… this in turn makes it impossible to type anything. Fortunately, as soon as you get it back to a full sized table where everything can sit the way it was meant, it works as intended.(2) The charger port fits the standard Apple charger, but doesn’t fit some of the other USB-C chords. This is annoying when you want to charge as you have to remove the case to get the charger to plug in. Thankfully the battery is good enough on these iPads that it’s rarely an issue, but on the off chance you have one of those chargers, need to type, and get battery at the same time, you’re out of luck.At the end of the day, I’m still happy I went this option over the Apple Magic Keyboard. The detachable keyboard option while using the case as a stand alone makes it worth it. As long as you keep the above two things in mind, I’d have no problems recommending this.

I love the $100 i saved by ordering this keyboard and case instead of the Apple one. The touch is really nice and the detachable keyboard is great for painting on my iPad.

I had a case like this on my M1 iPad Pro, so when I got the 13 inch M4 iPad Pro I decided to stick with Logitech for my case. The design of this case emulates the Microsoft Surface and Surface keyboard, providing a kickstand for the iPad and a removable keyboard. I do feel the price is outrageous, but there aren’t many quality options when it comes to cases in this design. This updated version functions better - the trackpad is larger and does not randomly stop working like the older version did, and the case feels less flimsy that the older version. The keyboard feels a little more comfortable to use, and the back lighting is much better as well - there seems to be more steps in brightness and the backlight adjusts with the automatic brightness on the screen. There is still a bug from the prior version of this case where the back lighting doesn’t always come back on after going to sleep while open. Pressing the brightness buttons will turn the back light on again, but I do feel this is an oversight.Installation is mildly anxiety inducing because you have to use some force to get the case on the iPad, but I managed to do it without breaking anything; just follow the instructions in the box. Some other cases just attach with magnets to the rear of the iPad, but by wrapping around the frame of the iPad this case provides more protection. I certainly wouldn’t try dropping my iPad in this case, but I feel confident that my iPad is protected while in my bag.One thing I dislike about this case is the material used on the exterior. The exterior portion which sits on the rear of the keyboard is a smooth plastic (or maybe metal? I can’t decide) which is prone to marring and fingerprints, while the exterior on the rear of the iPad is more rubbery feeling, akin to the official folio cases. The older version of this Logitech case used a fabric material on all portions of the exterior and for the wrist rest, and I definitely preferred that design over this.I carry a regular iPad from work in the same pouch as my M4 in my work bag, and the rubber feet on the work iPad’s case have marked up this Logitech case like a gym floor. This case, only being available in black was also a disappointment, but at least it’s a neutral color. There does seem to be slightly more noticeable battery drain from the keyboard on this version of the case versus the original, but you can always turn off the back light reduce power draw from the iPad.

I like this keyboard for better than the Apple keyboard and I find it very easy to use. It does a better job of protecting the iPad than the Apple version does. Back lighting is great however, I wish there were a way that I could tell it to not go dark as fast as it does. The iPad also seems to burn through battery faster than I recall, but that may have nothing to do with the keyboard. The metal on the back of the keyboard is quite thin, and I do not know how it got dented. It is a very minor dent and does not affect the keyboard. The keyboard is. magnetically attached to the protective case and they can separate. You can lift the iPad with an open keyboard, but it can also separate easily.. That is how I discovered that the iPad was well protected when the keypad disconnected from the protective case. It wasn't a fall from great heights however it did protect the iPad from getting any minor dents or scratches.I found the app that comes with the keyboard to be useless. I sure wish it allowed for adjustment of things such as the speed the keyboard backlight goes dark.I definitely recommend the purchase of this and find that these issues above a really only minor. I would hands down choose this (and did) over The Apple keyboard. It wasn't a price issue but rather I preferred its features.
