The base sheet is a lightweight sheet that is wet - strength treated and dry waxed with 2 pounds ( 3.2 GSM ) of wax. These Sheets are placed in a "Pop - Up " box for easy dispensing. Logan Wrap provides an acceptable alternative when pricing is a major consideration. It competes with the current lightweight sheets being sold on the market such as Georgia Pacifics "Rite Wrap".

When making sandwiches for take to work, I always wrap before packaging. This wrap is just fine. Previously using wax paper but this is more convenient to use. Just grab a pop up sheet and use. Perfect size for a sandwich.

I thought the product was in the red box that was shown. It was not, it came in a brown cardboard box. The item is folded in this box and I have to struggle to get it out. I thought it was pop out like a tissue box, but the product itself is not bad and can be used. I wish manufacturers would give the buying public the real deal on what to expect. A bit disappointed.

I use the product for art purposes. This paper is excellent for gelatin plate printing and direct painting. Currently, I am using it with watercolor. I am sure it will be even better with acrylic paint, though I have not used it. I original purchased Kabnet Wax because a professional artist uses it. However, Kabnet Wax had a lot of wax on it, even on the less waxy side. Also, Kabnet Wax has very strong striping. Logan Wrap paper is smooth and has very little wax even on the slick side. I am enjoying painting and printing on the Logan Wrap paper. I have a 9x13 homemade gelatin plate. The Logan Wrap over hangs about 1.5in in the 9in direction and is short 1in in the 13 direction. That is fine for me. I iron the paper before I use it to remove wrinkles and flatten the center fold a bit. The center fold has disappeared for me after printing. I hope that this will help artists like me who are having trouble making a decision about which waxed paper to use for Gelli plate/gelatin printing. Best wishes and happy printing!

Great! This did exactly what I wanted. I make myself a breakfast sandwich in the morning before work, and while it may seem absurd to worry about the amount of time it takes to take a paper towel (this does it better) or wax paper (this does it better), I have my morning down to a science, and having worked food service for many years said "Why not get what people who do this for a living use?" It's worth it. Paper towels soak through, wax paper is a PITA, and this just works in less than 2 seconds, and works every time.I noted other people saying it soaked through. They didn't put the food on the waxed side. If you use it as you should, it works great. If you flip it over and put the item on the non-waxed side, it'll soak through immediately. So, know what you're getting and know how to use it. :)My only knock is that it's a bit pricey, so.... look for local restaurant supply places.
