Only used it on two frames so far but it worked flawlessly. Frames were solid cherry hardwood but points penetrated perfectly.

I'm a beginner woodwoker/DIY-er and was looking for something like this I could use for a picture frame I made. This is such a faster and more efficient way to secure artwork to the frames than finish or Brad nails. I was working on a softwood (pine) frame so I used the black colored flex points and they went in without a problem using the factory set depth. Haven't used the silver hardwood points yet but I'm sure they'll go in smoothly as these did. Great tool

I'd always wondered how professional framers added those bendy tabs on the back of frames to hold in the picture. This is that tool. I wish I'd bought it 20 years ago, it's a complete game-changer. Easy to use, comes with great instructions and terrific value for money. If you like to frame your own pictures, you *have* to get one of these!

Performed as described. Easy to load, easy adjustment, works like a charm. No more little, dinky, nails to contend with. Drives points home, with little effort. Makes for very professional looking results. Saves time, and frustration. Turns a job into a pleasurable hobby. Thank you.

Gun itself appears well built and is pretty heavy for a unit this size. Points were easy to load (no more difficult than loading a staple gun) and I read the instructions, had it loaded and it was ready to use in under 60 seconds. Only did a picture frame and a quilt craft frame so far, but both when smooth as silk. Hoping this lasts a while as it was not cheap, but from all indications this was the right choice for what I needed.
