Our shower in wall diverter falls off when you switch from rainfall showerhead and hand held shower. Used it on the diverter and doesn't fall off anymore.

The stuff should be great but never set. Finally found that "inactive metals" includes galvanized, stainless steel and some alloy metals. You mean alloy metals like bearings races? Inactive metals need the "special primer" at $15 a can. They need to explain that in detail. It's made for bearing races and should work. Cleaned the surfaces with brake cleaner AND carb cleaner and it never would set on the races..

I was looking for something to retain a 1/4" pinion that had worked lose from an interference fit in an aluminium housing. I was disappointed that this stuff did not set (I think the clearance was too large). This is not a "Cyanoacrylate" glue, it appears to be like the "Anaerobic" thread Sealant. I guess it would work with a tighter fit, but after 24 hours it was still liquid on the Pinion...Back to the Drawingboard for me

I used this on threads because I wanted something that would lock it up permanently and this did the trick. I have a piece of threaded plumbing pipe going in to a flange that is bolted to the garage floor. I have one of those automatic compressor hose reels u bolted to the post. The problem was that whenever I pulled on it from any angle except perfectly perpendicular from the post the whole thing would turn.Once I put this stuff on there, let it set up, it does not budge what so ever. I know this isn't the intended use, but if just sharing my example of what I used it for and it worked perfectly for the job.
