I love 5699. This is the best RTV sealant I have used. Put it into this handy dispenser and you pretty much have the ultimate RTV setup. Yes, this is a bit pricey, but with the cap this comes with it never seems to harden and plug the nozzle like the tubes of RTV do and the dispenser allows great control of the flow of RTV so you can put down some really even beads of sealant without wasting any.

Purchased on recommendation of pro motor builder. Built 2 motors with this on every gasket, both motors run great. Had one episode where the stuff dried too quickly, I was in the sun and it was a hot day. It was obvious that the stuff was not tacky, so simple to throw away the gasket and do again with new gasket when temps cooled off.

Finally, I can buy some RTV, and not see about 90% of it go to waste from doing out in the crappy tubes it usually is found in. This is far superior, with virtually no waste!

I’ve been using this product for over 10 years at my auto repair shop, the quality of this product is oem equivalent or better, this product has never let me down, it’s just harder to find and glad it’s always available in Amazon!

Nothing special about the rtv itself. Works pretty much like any other rtv of the same type. I bought it specifically for the dispenser. Pretty expensive for the amount of rtv but I was sick and tired of throwing out half full tubes of rtv because they cured while in storage. So in the end this is saving me money. Highly recommend.

Cures very quickly and makes a solid bond. I had problems getting my valve covers to seal and this sealer solved my problems. The only con that I have with this product is the difficulty removing old gaskets sealed with it. I highly recommend it.
