The Loc-Line coolant hose assembly pliers set is made of blue acetal copolymer plastic and includes 2 pliers for assembly and disassembly of Loc-Line modular coolant hose: one for use with Loc-Line hose and fittings of 1/4" inner diameter and one for use with Loc-Line hose and fittings of 1/2" inner diameter. The acetal copolymer plastic resists corrosion and moisture, and helps reduce the risk of damage to Loc-Line hose during work. The material complies with Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) and Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) international directives for hazardous materials.
Lockwood Products manufactures the Loc-Line modular hose system of low-pressure hose and couplings used for coolant, air delivery, smoke and dust removal, and other applications. The company, founded in 1981, is headquartered in Lake Oswego, OR.

Got these for a Christmas gift. Flimsy plastic tools are completely incapable of pressing fittings together. Don't waste your time with this item.

These do not work with standard sized doll & stop motion armature plastic ball sockets, but it's suggested as frequently purchased together.

This tool works fine however I was disappointed that I was forced to by both the 1/2" and 1/4" tools when I only needed the smaller one. I had to purchase the package of two sizes because I could not fine the 1/4" tool sold separately. That being said, I knew that before the purchase so I am not really going to complain...... too much. :)

Loc-Line parts a easy to separate. Getting them back together, not so much. These pliers makes the job easy. They are plastic and a little over priced, but well made. They just make building or modifying Loc-Line systems easy.

The tool is specific to loc-line flex hose products. It is easy to use and has no discernable drawbacks. I highly recommend it.

If your using Loc-line for anything these Pliers make assembly and dis-assembly easy as pie. They have held up well. I personally use Loc-line like both for tools to remove debris for cutting with a title saw and drilling with a drill press. Loc-line also happens to be used in a lot of flex-arms for camera mounts and these pliers are great for customizing the length of those arms
