These rods are super sturdy and well worth the price. Good for medium weight curtains. The cheap ones at the big box store sagged and bent when putting them up.

Have been looking for this shape for a while! Wanted to have my curtains go to the walls~helps block the sun in the summer and helps a cold chill from coming in window leaks during our cold Winnipeg winters! Ordering more ! Strong and great price!

These rods are extremely sturdy. I have never seen a rod as sturdy as these rods. They will last for years to come. And will hold up your curtains without a problem. I don’t know why it asked if there was sheerness in the rods. rods are not sheer. That is why I gave that a one star. I do believe they are expensive. I don’t believe that $12 is a good price for these rods. In my opinion the cost is too high. But if you want a very sturdy rod and you’re willing to pay the price then these rods are for you.

Have been upgrading the window in our living room and purchased blinds that had to be mounted outside the frame. Blinds are HUGE a good 2 3/4 inch so I needed something that I could hang new sheers. These arrived today and I put the new sheers on and mounted on brackets that were already on the window. I can't really comment on sturdiness yet but they are fantastic for the intended purpose of hanging sheers. I've used many of these types of rods before and these feel good quality.MYSTIC-HOME Sheer Curtains White... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076J8YNVT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I needed a rod to go over three windows, and this one worked great. I planned to use holes that were already in the window frame from previous tenants, as I don't own a drill/don't want to create more holes since I'm renting. For this reason, I was only able to put in the top screw for each bracket. Even with just one screw per bracket, this rod is sturdy and holding up blackout curtains great. Not as aesthetically pleasing as some curtain rods, but an easy affordable option if your apartment doesn't come with a good way to hang curtain rods.

I've had this style of curtain rod in the past, but they were extremely flimsy. These ones are shockingly sturdy. Super easy to hang -- comes with the mounting brackets, wall anchor, and screws. Very easy to just hold the bracket on the wall next to the windows and drill the pilot hole for the anchors (though you need to go through the hole again with a larger drill bit than will fit through the bracket). You can even use them for the type of curtain that has the holes for weaving through a round pole, if you are not too high class and need a cheaper solution.

The rods were what I expected and have been successfully hung. Used this type many years ago so good to see them still stocked

Overall this is a fine curtain rod. I use it to hold up blackout curtains that cover my sliding glass doors. Putting it up was easy and the instructions were simple enough, but the screws that come with it are kind of meh and they didn't hold in very firmly. I was forced to use a bit larger screws than were provided and now it's rock solid in place. The center support screw is equally crappy and doesn't hold in that well either, but ehh it works I guess. There is also a plastic bracket that locks down in the middle of it that the curtain always gets hung up on when I open it. So if you put them up and favor one side of the curtains over the other, I would recommend putting the plastic bracket on the side that you don't use as much.

These are GREAT, very strong extendable curtain rods that include all the hardware you need, including wall anchors, which I highly recommend you use. I usually never use wall anchors, but yes, for something heavy like curtains that you are regularly tugging on to open and close, they are necessary. I was lazy during my first install of these and only used wall anchors in the bottom hole (dumb), just screwing the top screws directly into the drywall. Sure enough, the top screws were pulling away from the drywall by morning which also bent the metal wall bracket some. I was able to bend the brackets back and the problem was fixed by just using wall anchors (though now I needed to use larger ones as the screws had overly widened the wall holes for the included wall anchors...) If you are going to be lazy about the anchors do the top and not the bottom, but to be safe do both!! I re-installed using anchors and the top hole as well, and they hold up the very heavy velvet blackout curtains I have. I ended up buying two more of these 3" rods and they are fantastic, MUCH stronger than the flimsy ones you can buy at the big box stores like Lowes, Walmart or Target which I had at my last house that sucked. The 3" rods are the perfect clearance over the wide plastic plantation blinds I have, and the drapes hang much more nicely than the cheap 2" ones I had previously. Buy a set for every window in your house!
