Universal Bearing Packer with threaded center post for use with grease guns. The design incorporates a standard grease fitting at one end which easily connects to any grease gun coupler. Heavy duty, all-metal construction. Place the bearing between the metal cones, tighten with the knurled metal nut, and apply grease through the fitting on the end of the threaded shaft. Forces out the old grease and evenly injects fresh grease.

Can't believe I've waited my whole life to buy this thing. I do a lot of maintenance on my vehicles and this makes packing bearings a breeze. No excuse to procrastinate on packing my trailer or RV bearings now. Keep it in a plastic bag between uses or it'll get funky.

If you've never used one or just replacing an old one, this is the one to buy! Greasing and packing bearings is made simple and quick, really like the all metal construction. The cheaper plastic ones get warped and damaged.

I opted to spend more money to get a metal greaser and I am glad I did. It is easy to mount the bearing and apply the right amount of grease. I had eight camper bearings to grease and this simple unit made it much quicker than by hand and gave me confidence the bearings were being filled completly with grease. I did the four smaller bearings first and the four larger bearings last. Each time I removed the bearing but left the glob of grease on the base of the unit so there was less pumping required to grease the next bearing. This is a solid unit that I know I can count on for future bearing greasing.

I really don't like greasing up bearings, I always get grease everywhere. I have always used the palm of the hand method, simple easy, don't have to have any gizmos. That being said I tried the LockNLube Universal Bearing Packer. It worked flawlessly. Super simple, effective in doing my dual axel trailer, and did all 8 new bearings. I liked it and will keep it.

Been working on cars over 35 years and during most of that time they had wheel bearings that had to be repacked periodically. I did most of them the old fashioned way, by hand. Most cars have gone to sealed bearings in hubs now so there isn't much call for repacking bearings anymore. This is by no means a "must have" tool, but it is a nice to have tool. Definitely saves some time over the old fashioned way. I won't say it is not messy because you are still working with wheel bearing grease, but it is less messy since you don't have to hold a hand full of grease. If you still regularly work on tapered roller bearings then go ahead and pick one of these up, just make sure you have the right type of grease in your grease gun!
