The reason I chose this particular version is that I wanted something that did not have a battery and was electronically controlled yada yada yada because my house is extremely humid and I need to keep an eye on it all the time so make sure it stays between 30 and 50 my house can go up as high as 80 and 90 with warning.With other models, I have tried and they have the battery. It’s a pain in the neck to have to go out and worry about batteries, yada yada yada so this way all I have to do is look at it hang it up look at it, and I know immediately without having to worry about the batteries are gonna die run out to the store well worth the money I would definitely Please that I bought it.

This was very easy to install and works prefect! I like that it is so simple too, seems like much less to go wrong and that it will last for years. It was also not expensive.

Não é capaz de medir a umidade. Tenho outro medidor aqui funcionando perfeitamente que indica 33% de umidade enquanto essa porcaria diz que esta em 50%. Lixo total!!

This is a nice guage to see the humidity level inside a safe or other airtight compartment.

This is a nice hydrometer. Wasn’t looking for anything digital because you have to replace the batteries and so forth. All I just need to know that it is under 50% for my safe. Came on time, packaged, well, and very easy set up. Came with a three and double stick Velcro And was able to attach to the inside of the door of my safe. With that in mind, it’s perfect for my needs. However, it is not 100% made of metal. It is plastic, which some may have problems with. I don’t, because it is the inside of the door and I’m not looking at it on a daily basis. I just wanna make sure when I open the door that it reads correctly. Which it does.I placed a couple anti-hydration silicon bags along with a warm up plug-in coil stick with two rubber in case silicon reusable anti- hydration units to keep the moisture down inside the safe. When I first started, it was at approximately 60%!humidity. Now with all the bags and anti-humidity items that I have in the safe to keep it from sweating, hydrometer is now stating it is under 40% and holding. Which is perfect. A good thing is I don’t have to worry about changing out batteries. So for that, I’m very happy with the purchase. You can go digital and so forth absolutely- but batteries explode, corrode and all…this, doesn’t need that... Accuracy, and all the bells dings and whistles, but as long as it stays under 50%, and I noticed no fluctuation in the humidity, I’m fine with it. Plus being that it’s inside steel safe. I don’t want the meter to rust from cheap steel or metal. So this does have a positive benefit for being plastic and it won’t rust as other ones tend to do. Great value happy to purchase. Nice product..worth getting.

I got lucky. This hygrometer was correct right out of the box. One of the other reviews stated that they had to take it apart and set it--not me. I have 2 other hygrometers to compare it with, and this one is in agreement with both of them. But, I have only had it for 2 days. So far, so good. This is an inexpensive instrument in an equally inexpensive, plastic housing, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and try to remember that "you get what you pay for". Actually, this device is intended for a gun vault, but to me, a hygrometer is a hygrometer. I will only update this review if I become dissatisfied--I am neutral on recommendation. Update: After 4 days, it seems to be working just fine. One thing that I have noticed different from my other hygrometers, this one seems to track and measure changes more quickly. Still neutral.

Time will tell how durable this dial hygrometer is, but it seems responsive to it's environment and it was super easy to install with it's included adhesive. It also has the option to hang on a screw.

Un muy buen higrómetro ya que no necesita baterias, simplemente lo colocas y hace su trabajo el solo, es muy preciso se puede observar que marca el mismo porcentaje de humedad que un higrómetro de baterías, estos suelen ser mas precisos.Solo le puse 3 estrellas debido a dos problemas, uno de ellos es el material con que está hecho, se siente demasiado débil debido a que es totalmente de plástico y la manecilla es bastante sensible al movimiento.

Got this for my product and I am definitely satisfied! Gives me a good idea of the humidity level of my safe. It can be mounted on a screw or simply applied to a wall with the double sided sticky ring provided. Great product!
