We have purchased these repeatedly for our kids. Strong elastic that lasts for the lifetime of the shoes. Easy to lace up and set up (even for my 8 year old). Easy to tighten. Comes in lots of cool colors. Elastic is very long for big kid's size shoes, and he has about 12 extra inches of elastic that he snips off. A totally worthwhile investment to decrease the morning hassle.

Lock Laces are the best thing since sliced bread. I work long, long hours in a busy hospital environment. If my shoes aren't laced just right my body lets me know. Being older, a bit arthritic, with pockets full of gear and patients who need me right away, pausing to fidget with or re-tie my shoelaces isn't always possible. Enter Lock Laces. Lock Laces ensure consistent gentle pressure across the tops of my feet. As a result my feet seem to feel better (less crampy) after a busy 12 hour shift. I am in the process of installing Lock Laces on all of my shoes-- I started with the work shoes, and my trail runners are next. Lock Laces are easy to use and come in a variety of cool colors, though more would be nice (dark green, sky blue, where are you??). As you can see by my photo, I prefer my Lock Laces a bit longer with the extra length tucked in. The extra length makes it easier to get my shoes on and off.APPLICATION: Just follow the instructions. I recommend walking around a bit before applying the little end caps so that you can make adjustments and decide on final length. I say this because it is difficult, **THOUGH NOT IMPOSSIBLE**, to re-open the end caps once they are closed.**If you need to re-open the end caps a flat-head screwdriver and a twisting motion worked for me. 😉

The product is good but there should be warning label to wear the shoe as you install the laces. Without that, you might wind up throwing them away like I did because I installed them without wearing my shoe. Live and learn.

These work beautifully. The instructions are very clear. They get in place easily. They hold the door in place well. They're was enough length for my sneakers (I wear a 7 women's). Way enough. And cutting them to size was easy. The clip to hold them as the last step was pretty hard to get done, but I know they'll stay in place. The black and white matches the black and white of my shoes so well it looks like they came with the shoes.

I love these shoelaces! Bought them in 7/2021 and have used them every day at work since. I do a lot of walking in the foothills for work so I lace the boots tightly for stability. It’s now 12/2024 & I finally have to replace them. For the inexpensive price and how hard I am on them, I feel like they’ve lasted a long time. I love how easy they are to lace up, and more importantly, to loosen. It’s helpful at the end of a long day when I’m hot & tired and want to get the boots off quickly. The only tip I have is to measure twice, cut once. I have another pair on my Converse that I cut too short and I regret it.

Who knew that getting a puppy would put me onto these great laces. My puppy decided the laces on my Vibram Five Finger shoes were really tasty. I contacted Vibram and they suggested a company. I looked at the companies product but didn't like several things. I then did a search and Lock Laces returned. I looked them over and they were prefect for my needs. Very easy to lace up and the spring loaded lock keeps them in place. The one Vibram used kept slipping. My shoes stay in place now and are much more comfortable to wear. These laces work so well I'm going to change out the laces in all my Five Fingers.

These are holding up well except for the end aglets. Those didn't stay on the laces for long, about a week and they were gone. They just don't attach well at all. However, the rest of the laces have held up for a summer of hard use and I like the convenience. These are much faster than tying and allow for precision tension - way more control than hand lacing. You can make them very tight for strenuous work and then loosen them up a bit when you sit down. Great product with the exception of the aglet holder - those are junk. Just take a lighter and mushroom the lace heads so they don't pull back though and you're gold with these.
