YES, the LMT-500 Matching Transformer can convert the "normal" Hi-Fi, ProAudio and PA amplifier into the 70V/100V output system, to setup the distributed line system with transformer mounted speakers, to avoid the eliminates power loss between amplifiers and speakers and also allows longer speaker runs on large indoor installations.
By using the LMT-500 with the conventional low-z power amplifier, NO NEED to worry about the Impedance Mismatch. Overheating and Damage, Potential for Short-Circuit or Sound Quality Issues.
Application 1 - Works with Stereo Power Amplifier (as 1 source)
In this application, you can set up a stereo Public Address System with LMT-500 matching transformer.
Note: The input power from each channel of the amplifier should not be higher than LMT-500 Matching Transformer’s rated power to avoid possible damage.
Application 2 - Works with 2 Power Amplifier (as 2 source - 2 Zone Distribution)
In this application, you can set up a Public Address Distribution System with two different signals and distribute them to different zones.
Note: The input power from each amplifier should not be higher than LMT-500 Matching Transformer’s rated power to avoid possible damage.
Application 3 - Works with Power Amplifier under Bridged Mode (as 1 source)
In this application, you can set up a Public Address System with two channels of LMT-500 bridged to have twice the power of its rated power.
Note: The input power from the amplifier should not be higher than twice LMT-500 Matching Transformer’s rated power to avoid possible damage.

We have 12 ceiling speakers through out our warehouse and this is powering all of them with no issues. When we built our warehouse and installed the speakers I had no idea how i was going to power them all and this made it almost simple. the sound is nice with no distortion, static or hissing, ect. I would buy this again. 5 STARS

This is a very well-made, professional piece of audio equipment. Excellent fit and finish it boosts your output signal from the amplifier to allow you to power large or multiple speakers is made for a commercial setting pretty much as it’s far too powerful for a home system.This is a great thing to have for audio performances like a band or auditorium performance. The signal was clean and the audio to my PA speaker was very clear. The next time I set up for a band, we are going to try this out in a public setting. Results were very positive positive during rehearsal.
