These are surprisingly high quality bearings for no-name import ones. I have never bought cheap import bearings without either knowing before hand, and not caring, that they were going to be "chunky" and feel like they needed to be taken apart, cleaned, and re-assembled with new grease or knowing I was going to do that. These seem fine right out of the package. I hope they hold up and the grease in them doesn't degrade over time, but with some initial use, these seem to be pretty good options. Considering domestic-sourced ones can be 10-20x the cost, these are pretty good alternatives.

I got these linear bearings for a CNC machine build. The bearings run pretty smooth on a standard 8mm rod. They are quite noisy, with the little ball bearings inside making a raspy sound as they slide on the rail. There is a very slight side to side play between the rod and bearing. Looking inside, there are 4 rows of small ball bearings, they are 90 degrees from each other.I am not planning to need to run this too fast, so I imagine the noise level shouldn't be too bad, but on a 3D printer with an axis that moves a lot, they may be noisy.I am not sure how these compare to others - I have one other set from another mfg, but they seem to be of similar build and quality.
