I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this tool set, but to my surprise it's a very solid and quality tool set. The price for what you get was on point, and with a coupon on Amazon this purchase was a great deal for the amount of pieces you get. I specially liked the fact that the complete set is impact rated so I imagine they will last for a long service life. The case is of solid construction, and very organized and the set does not weigh very much, oh and it's of compact size so I can keep it tucked away in the trunk of my car incase of a roadside emergency. I did use some of the sockets with an impact driver to rotate the tires on my car and so far so good. Two thumbs up, and I would recommend this LLNDEI tool set to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable inexpensive tool set.

I needed a 1/4-drive socket set to supplement my 3/8- and 1/2-drive sets. This one is excellent---Contents--Complete complement of of both SAE and metric deep and shallow sockets; push-button release, 72-tooth ratchet; driver-style handle; 2" and 10" extensions; universal joint adapter; 3/8-drive adapter, cross-drilled so it can slide over either extension to make a T-handle; drill chuck adapter; and a set of screwdriver tips plus a bit-holder for them.Sockets--well made, black finish chrome vanadium steel, 6-point.ID--The sockets themselves are well marked, with black numerals within light-colored squares. The deep sockets snap into the lid on their sides, so their markings show clearly. The shallow sockets however sit vertically down in individual holes in the plastic case so their markings are not visible. Every item has case markings next to it in raised plastic letters/numerals. I found those to be hard to see. I used a marking pen to carefully blacken the top surfaces of all the raised case markings making them all stand out prominently.Case--Very compact and reasonably well made, with positive gripping latches. In a video, an earlier reviewer described the case as easily releasing the pieces. I did not find it so. I found many of the pieces to be aggressively held in place. On the plus side, they don't come loose in the case during travel, but on the negative side I found some of them to be difficult to remove. I ended up throwing a small flat-bladed screwdriver into the case to use to quickly lever pieces free.I recently installed a jackshaft garage door opener on my garage, and apart from my power drill, this set was all I used for the entire install. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This is an essential toolset that you’ll be glad to have, whether for moving, assembling furniture, or handling all sorts of tasks around the house. It’s by far the most comprehensive and easy-to-use socket set I’ve owned.Unfortunately, I misplaced a few of the pieces, but I love this set so much that I’m planning to buy another one soon. It’s reliable, sturdy, and has everything you could possibly need. Definitely worth the investment!

I usually go for those $5 loss-leader ratchet-and-socket sets. But I don't know what happened to the last one I had, maybe the ex ended up with it as a bonus along with the house. This time I knew I needed some larger sockets, and this set has a really wide variety of both metric and standard, and both shallow and deep versions of each, amazing! The ratchet itself feels sturdy, and it has a release button to depress that tiny knob that holds the socket on -- a feature you just don't find on cheapo sets. Plus a swivel joint which works well. The quarter-inch screwdriver handle works with a really wide variety of screwdriver tips, including star and allen, very nice. The sockets do NOT fall out of the top of the case because they snap into it securely, but they will fall out of the bottom half of the case if you open the case upside down like a dummy. The parts weren't very oily except for the screwdriver tips, but it's nice to know that they aren't about to start rusting. In short, this set is really packed with a plethora of fittings in a compact case and I expect to have it for many years, so a very good spend.

SHORT STORY: Good case, nicely black-finished parts, easy to use, works well, nice range of sizes and tools. Highly recommend if you like matte finish black tools. NOTE - if you work outside in hot sun a lot, that might not be a good idea as they'll probably heat up quickly, but I don't, so they work for me :) .THE LONG VERSION: I was just a kid when my father got his first socket set by accident ... he literally found it lying in the road near our house. And it stood him in good stead for decades. Based on this experience of socket sets falling out of the sky, I waited until i was 60 to actually buy my first set, putting up with standard wrenches and crescent wrenches for WAY too long. Then we bought a table whose "nuts" just wouldn't accept any of our wrenches, and I decide it was time to give up on my hopes of "sockets from above" and invest in a set. And I really like these. I like the feel of the matte finish, and the tools all work easily and well with no hiccups, just as you'd expect. The carry case is well made and I love that it's bright red, as it's much easier to find when I tuck it in a dark corner between projects. I highly recommend, unless, as I said before, you work in the sun a lot.
