These are the mineral block you need to provide for your rabbit, chinchilla, hamster or other pet rodent. They're easy to mount on the side of the cage; I use a simple S-hook bent out of galvanized wire; some people mount them with a screw or nail driven through the middle hole. These are very densely pressed/molded, and I've never had one break or split in many years that I've been using them in my commercial rabbitry. The only caution is to protect them from contact with rainfall.

They are not lixit and would not think there is enough difference but value is well worth the money. Rabbits if given quality feed will not use much. It's there for the offering they know when they need it. Will purchase again when need.

The hole is convenient for screwing down the block. We use them in our yard for the cottontails.

Not going to find a better value for the amount you get. Some of my rabbits devour them and play with them, some of them couldn't care less about them. I give to the breeding does to give them extra minerals. They do get red goo all over the cage and in the water dishes/bottles.
