These scissors are perfect. They're small enough for my son, aged 9, to use them comfortably while being big enough for me to feel just fine grabbing these if I cannot find my regular scissors. The three-pack is also perfect for sending a child with a pair for their school supplies while also keeping a backup pair at home for homework, and stashing away another pair for when you inevitably lose the ones you have at home. You know this happens, so go ahead and save yourself the headache and purchase this pack of three. Be prepared.

These scissors are more comfortable and usable for the kids in my religious education program. Relatively inexpensive and functional for the couple of months they have been in use.

Scissors are fine for regular scissor stuff. But if you're doing the thing where you open them up to open a package, for example, prepare to get shredded. I don't know how this design got approved for school scissors! The inner plastic of the arms is so sharp. My fingers are full of little cuts. Of course this is not the most common use of scissors, but it's good to keep in mind if you want that as an option.
