I don’t actually use these for wires or anything like that, rather, everything. If a task needs scissors, I use these, they are everything scissors should be, they are sharp, cut great, and most importantly, they don’t bend around what you are trying to cut like cheap scissors only good for cutting paper, would recommend if you are looking for a strong pair of scissors that can cut basically everything.

So far, the tool has proven sharp, and durable. I replace them often, every time I have a significant fiber project.All snips dull, and cutting aramid yarn dulls them faster. These hold up as well as any other brand I outfit my techs with.My techs-in-training really appreciate the holster. they come to work on day 2, proud to have these on their belt. Longer term employees tend to purchase a leather holster, or, like me, risk carrying them in their back pocket.

We use a lot of fiberoptic cables but we need to cut them too. It is a very handy tool when you have a lot of splicing to do.

These are not your main pair of scissors. I will still be using my Klein pair of nearly the identical scissors. The cut on the Klein's are tighter and heavier. However, this pair doesn't feel cheap, just not as tough. I will use them as my backup set.
