The material is very thin, luckily it's not see through but if there's any kind of chill to the air it'll go right through this dress. The pockets are cute, there are some loose threads but not a huge deal and doesn't take away from the functionality, I just snipped them away. Little girls grow so fast so I'm sure it'll hold up till she outgrows it. It's very pretty and unique with the dinosaurs. We love the ruffle on the sleeves too.
