My wife has had one of these Dura-Forks for well over 10 years. We've replaced head on the aluminum handle a few times. These are very sturdy, but sooner or later you're going to break a tine or two. This time I bought a new fork for her and also picked up a replacement head for the one I broke.Personally, I don't care for the bend in the handle, but my wife prefers them to a straight handled fork. They aren't a glamorous purchase, but like any good tool, they pay for themselves in durability.I also use the Dura-Forks with the straight wood handle. They are my preference.

The first order with this company through Amazon was Aug 19, 2024 when they failed to send the handle with the head. Order returned. Put in another order Aug 26th and the whole fork was shipped. After years of using straight handle manure forks (still using 10 year old Future Forks that have not broken) the ergonomic handle took some getting used to but has become a favorite. The head however is another subject as viewed in the attached photo. The break occurred sifting manure from bedding so there was very little weight involved. Maybe this was just a flaw in the this particular head but it is disappointing after occasional use for four months.

I've always used a standard stall rake to clean my horses stalls, I borrowed one of these from someone and knew I needed my own. The ergonomic bend gives you a ton of leverage, without adding extra strain on your back and shoulders. I love that it has the cushy grip right at the center, because it helps you to know where to put your hand to get the perfect leverage. The basket isn't anything special, it's just a regular basket, but when it breaks, I will just be replacing the basket and keeping the whole handle.

I love the handle on this product. It is my second time to get one. I do admit that the mid handle is not in the correct place for me but it sure saves my back as I use it to remove horse manure. It is very durable and I have changed the fork on the other one I own several times. I always forget how much better it is until I pick up a regular fork and realize immediately how much better this ergonomic design is.

Love, love, love this fork. My back thanks the creator of this fork! It is so much easier to use than traditional muck forks - lighter and easier on me in every way. The only weakness in design is the sponge grip on the handle. That is not super durable and has shredded on two different forks. I'm not sure if they sell a replacement for this piece and it is nicer to have on the fork than to risk damp hands sticking to the aluminum in winter months but otherwise, I don't ever want to have to muck another stall without one of these babies.

I've used several duraforks (or knock-offs) over the years. My last one broke after getting snarled on a root and this replacement, while a bit pricey, is a nice tool. In the past, the forks I've used have had wooden handles. The difference an aluminum handle makes is quite a bit - it's much lighter than my old one. The ergonomics of the thing took a little bit for me to get used to and I would like to move the padded hand grip just a little, but all in all, I am quite happy with my purchase. If you are using a pitchfork or a metal durafork - you should give this one a try for sure! They are great for spreading mulch and picking up yard debris too!
