4 1/2-5 stars This pump is a solid workhorse with a durable cast iron build that feels like it’ll last a long time. It’s powerful and moves a lot of water, but keep in mind it only handles solids up to 3/4 inch, so it’s not ideal for heavy debris. Setup is straightforward, and the float switch works well for automatic operation. However, it’s heavy at nearly 37 lbs., so moving it around isn’t the easiest. Also, it’s pretty loud when running, so be prepared for some noise. Overall, a strong, reliable pump if you need serious water-moving power.

This Little Giant pump is built like a tank, and the motor is an absolute beast. Cast iron motor housing is going to last many years. Integrated mechanical float switch for automatic operation, no manual oversight needed. Good for continuous duty, will only stop if it hits thermal overload. This can be used in applications where it needs to do a lot of vertical lift.On the downside, it only handles 3/4-inch solids, weights a lot, and is noisy. Overall, this is a good choice for residential or light to moderate commercial septic systems.

It has good quality, made from thick, heavy metal, and operates effectively with sensitivity. It features a reasonably long wire, but the main drawback is the lack of smart functionality. Adding a smart app for phone control would be a great enhancement. Despite this, it is well-made and durable.

I got this to use in my sewer, my husband is a plumber and was needing one to help keep the water levels at bay. When I opened the box and pulled the pump out the prongs on the electrical cord are completely smushed together so I can't plug it in.

This pump is a beast, you know from the very first use. Definitely a workhorse, and it's size belies just how powerful it is. I was familiar with Little Giant for some time, but this was my first pump of theirs. Quite easy to set up, and no problems with using it. Can handle solids up to the size needed, making it practical for wastewater removal. Ultimately got a second Little Giant pump thanks to how effective this one was on our land.

Was not expecting this to be as heavy as it is. Decently powerful. Seems more on the industrial use side of things than for basic residential usage needs.
