Always helps to have the right tools! Used this to remove the rear wiper arm on my 2006 Toyota Sequoia that was corroded on. Didn’t have any pullers that would fit, and wasn’t going to yank or pry with force which could damage things. This tool attached firmly to the wiper arm and popped it off in seconds with little effort. 10/10 would buy again. Much cheaper on Amazon compared to auto parts stores.

After spending weeks huffing WD-40 and trying to remove a broken rear wiper. This thing took it off in seconds. It is a must-have for all vehicle tools boxes.

Not gonna lie, the wiper arm was stuck so hard that I thought the little hooks of the arm puller tool were going to bend.. but they didn't and when the loud popping noise of the wiper arm releasing came, I knew it had worked fine! There is a BUT!The little bar used to turn the mechanism is too thin. It does bend, and because of how short it is, I had to use a "lever" mechanism to properly twist it. I ended up usinga metallic straw. It is exactly what it sounds like.. a stainless steel straw (washable) for drinks. It had the perfect diameter to fit the little arm in, and created a longer handle to "torque" the whole mechanism and twist. The pittle arm ended up bending anyway (so did the straw) but by rotating it every now and then you can kind of fix it.In the end, it saved me a lot of troubles and worked exactly as it was supposed to. But maybe consider getting a very small piping or alum straw to do like I did. Cheers

This is the tool you need for removing those pesky wiper arms. It's sturdy and well-made; the cone is a tough, heavy-duty plastic because it bears on the nylon jaw rollers and creates less wear on them. The cone will not break under normal use.The jaws are heavy enough to remove the very stuck wiper arms on my pickup that has seen 20 winters and lots of rain. Of course I used a penetrating oil and 3 days of patience, waiting for my new tool. I screwed down the tool hard but not too hard, and tapped firmly with a nylon hammer head. Back it off a bit, tap some more, screw it down hard and it finally did the trick. WD-40 helps during the tapping.Take a couple of minutes to fiddle with BOTH adjustments and see how the jaw width cone relates to the screw plunger depth. It should fit the vast majority of vehicles. One of the most effective, rarely-used tools I've ever bought and worth three times what I paid for it. Don't buy a cheap knock-off. Get the Lisle!

The one item i am a little worried about is the metal turn bar that you need to twist in order for the wiper arm to be pulled off. The bar is very thin and depending on how much pressure you use may very well bend of break, son't know why they did not make that a bit thinker in diameter.Otherwise looks very good, good weight to it. I bought to put in my toolbox for future use so unable to say much other wise that this one item which is the one weak point. I reviewed many others and all seem to have the same issue, less so with the reviews on this product so i'll just have to see if it holds up. I might be able to replace the through bolt with bar to a heavier one from the local hardware store, but for now i'll let it ride till i know for sure.

I needed this tool to remove the base of a broken-off rear window wiper arm on a 2013 Buick Enclave from the wiper motor spindle. The spindles and the wiper arm socket are tapered, designed to seat together movement-free once the attaching nut is tightened. As a result, they can be difficult to remove, particularly after the passage of time. Moisture may cause light oxidation or corrosion between and on the pieces, aggravating removal. This tool applies upward/outward pressure evenly on the wiper arm base until it releases. This tool made a 60-second job of removing the wiper arm base. I've seen other reviews that complained of the lifting tabs bending, or of the turning lever breaking out of the central rod that exerts pressure on the wiper arm spindle. I did not experience either of these problems. To help avoid such problems, consider doing the following:(1) Douse the joint between the wiper arm base and the wiper motor spindle with penetrating oil or WD40 the day before you attempt removal. Maybe a couple of times. Give the penetrating agent time to migrate into the joint between the two parts. I just wrapped a couple of paper towels around the spindle beneath the arm to absorb the excess and to keep it from running down onto the paint of the tailgate.(2) Run the central threaded pressure rod all the way out, then make sure that the tabs of the two pulling arms are seated against the spindle/arm base (under the wiper arm base) using the knurled adjusting cone before beginning to tighten the threaded central pressure rod against the top of the wiper motor spindle. If the tabs aren't firmly seated, pressure will not be evenly applied to their surfaces, which could cause the tips to bend. When you start to exert pressure with the center column by turning the handle clockwise, do it slowly. Exert equal pressure on BOTH ends of the turning handle with the handle centered in the pressure column. (Too much torque COULD break the handle out of the relatively thin metal of the top of the pressure column.)Mine popped off within a couple of slow turns from the time the center pressure column first touched the wiper motor spindle.

I rated four stars instead of five because the product I received is different than the one in the picture. The one I got has a plastic cone instead of a metal cone.Minutes after I opened the box, I got to try this tool on a stuck battery terminal on a Nissan Maxima. It pulled right off with no effort at all. It works GREAT for stuck battery terminals.Stuck battery terminals are very common on the Ford Edge, Mazda 6, Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ. The factory tightens these too tight causing the lead terminal to mushroom into the slot in the terminal. This puller can overcome the softness of the lead and pull the terminal up and get it off. In the case that the terminal under the windshield cowl is the one stuck, unbolt the other side of the battery cable from the body - it's usually nearby. Then remove the terminal with the battery and cable off of the vehicle.
