The unit is not the least expensive - but - the handle is long and seems to have been constructed well. Feels good in the hand and is easy to use.

Love this product. I was refurbishing a rental that was really dirty this scrapper came really handy in removing all the crud left behind by the previous renter.

The design makes it easy to handle, and the blades cut through adhesives and paint effortlessly. It's perfect for removing stubborn materials without damaging surfaces.

Very easy and firm for loading the razor blade. The storage in the handle could be slightly bigger so the spare blades can be put in with ease.

I’m someone who is an artist. Among some of the things I do, I paint with oils and acrylic. I mix my paints on a large sheet of glass. In order to remove the paint that has dried on the palette, I use a single edged razor blade.I’ve used the small, razorblade holders you get at the hardware store. They don’t work that well, especially, if you have a lot of paint to remove. Hand cramp. My son owns an Auto Repair Shop. I noticed he had a long handled razor blade holder he uses to remove inspection stickers on windshields.I ordered one and it really works. More leverage. My wife also uses it to remove stuck on stuff from our house windows.Bottom line, this is a good tool.

I have limped along for years with a cheap scraper..... so this time, I went "big time" and ordered a good one. It just goes to show that what the 'old guys' said years ago is true.... invest in good tools, and everything you do becomes enjoyable. This scraper is a testament to that thinking. It is easy to use and feels good in your hand. Easy to change blades, and much nicer to use than a cheap scraper.

I use this handle for one purpose and one purpose only. I use it to scrape the inside glass of my woodstove. This has really made a difference in the procedure that I do compared to the other short, stubby blade holders that are available from other manufacturers. Not to say that the other types of scrapers are bad, however, when dealing with a hot wood stove door, it’s best to keep your fingers and knuckles away from hot glass. With this tool, I am able to apply the necessary pressure in order to clean that glass. I have been heating my home for many years now using my woodstove and as a child, I have a also scraped the soot from the wood stove glass. My question is this ….. where has this been all my life? I could have experienced far less burnt knuckles and finger cuts throughout the years had I been using such a cool tool to do this job.If you want to make scraping a little bit easier and safer for yourself, then I recommend purchasing this item.I guess if I have to point out something that I dislike about this unit it would be the removable cap on the handle. Unscrewing the cap will allow you to place five razor blades within the handle. Great concept, however the darn screw cap keeps loosening up, and then eventually unscrews itself, allowing any extra blades to fall out. Not a big deal for me because I do not store any blades in the handle. I applied one drop of an UV glue to the Edge, preventing it from loosening up. Solved my problem quickly and efficiently. If I desire to unscrew the It could easily be done, but I guess I won’t have to do that now, will I ?

Well-made tool for removing dried paint, putty, decals or stickers from windows or other smooth surfaces, or for removing dried-on crud from glasstop stoves or cooktops. It's been a while since I wrote my initial review. This is a well-made, handy product that lasts and lasts. If you do any household chores or DIY stuff, you'll appreciate having this in your tool kit. When it arrives the single-edge blade is stored with the sharp side turned around and facing the interior, so you won't cut yourself. Be sure to turn the sharp side out and lock it in place before using it; also, clean the blade after use and put the blade back into the storage position when you finish the job. This may sound stupid, but the blade is so sharp that you could do major damage to yourself, your clothing, a car seat or a piece of fine furniture before you knew anything was wrong. Ask me how I know. In reading some of the negative comments, it seems that some users did not understand that the sharp edge of the blade was concealed during shipping and had to be returned to the working position before using it. Don't make that mistake. One person gave a low score because the mechanism cracked the first time he put pressure on it. In reviewing a product, knowing about the warranty response is as important as initial quality - be sure to check it out completely within a week or so of receipt, and to contact Amazon customer service immediately if you have a problem. For lower cost items, often all Amazon needs is a picture from your phone's camera to verify the claim - you may not have to ship it back, and that saves on return shipping costs.
