Just select the tip with opening that most closely fits locking strip, and then feed locking strip into eyelet. Tip swivels in 90 in either direction. I struggled just trying to get the lock strip started. I bought this tool and was done in about 20 minutes. It’s worth the price even if you only use it once. I am a long time fan of Lisle (30+ years). Their specialty tools always just work.

I had to put a bend in the shaft to get the handle away from the rubber. Not sure if this would be required for all installations, but it did for mine. Once you get through the learning curve it gets easy and really speeds up installing lock strip. Not sure I could have gotten the lock strip in without a tool like this.

It was my first time using a tool like this for putting the lock strip into a window seal, it worked great!! I do have to add I'm a leather worker and out of habit I polish my tools so that it doesn't scratch the leather. Doing it to this tool I'm sure helped it slide through the rubber.

When you are installing the center locking trim around the rubber seal for your windshield,or rear glass ,this is the tool to have ! Works great.

I doubt that I would have been able to insert the locking strip into the window seal without a tool like this.

First off this thing is way better than a dulled up screwdriver for installing trim-lok any day. The bend in the shaft has really helped when getting to parts of the seal that they like to put behind handles, dashes, and arm rests of equipment. As for the lock part of the lok all you need is to start it put a little windex or glass cleaner on there and it just slides right in. There is no slowly poking it in anymore. In the end it took a job that could take an hour and cut it in half essentially.

Super fast shipping. Got in 3 days to Norway. Tool very good, cant imagine doing job with those strips without it. construction super simple so it is easy to use it even if you are unexperienced like me.
