I have a 2004 BMW 325xi with about 130,000 miles, purchased a few years ago with 106,000 miles. It had a bad oil leak from the time I bought the car, losing about 1 quart every 500 miles or so. I believe the leak was primarily the front engine seal, but the oil pan gasket may have also been contributing. Hard to tell because even after cleaning the underside of the engine, after driving a bit the oil would blow around and cover the oil pan. Last oil change I used one container of the Motor Oil Saver, and I've used almost no oil in over 3000 miles. I believe most of the little bit I did lose (about 1/4 of a quart) was lost as the product was still reconditioning the seals and gaskets. After the last trips totaling 500 miles, there has been no oil loss whatsoever. I was skeptical of this product's claims, but I'm happy to have been proven wrong!

I recently decided to try Liqui Moly Ol-Verlust Oil Soot Stop, a product from Germany that promises to reduce oil soot buildup in the engine. Full disclosure: it took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, but I was eager to test it out once it showed up.I already had a 5w-40 Castrol oil mix in my car, and it was a little less than half full. The Liqui Moly product, manufactured on October 1st, 2023, had been sitting on a shelf for over a year. Even so, I decided to give it a try. Following the directions, I simply poured it straight into the existing oil mixture.Update (After 300-400 Miles):I will drive my Audi A4 B8 for 300-400 miles and update the review to see if it has helped burn less oil, which these turbo engines tend to do after 60k mileage. After the initial mileage passed, adding extra oil every 2 weeks, decreased to 3 weeks.

I have an Audi A4 b8.5 that was leaking a lot of oil needing an oil change after just 1500 miles. It was subtle at first to where you wouldn't notice, but over time it started leaking puddles of oil 7-8 inches in diameter. So when I checked underneath the car, I noticed that it was leaking where the oil pan gasket is. Then I remembered my mechanic friend telling me about this Liqui Moly stuff and how he uses it on oil changes for cars that have high mileage with worn out seals. I took his advice bought some and used it when I did my oil change. I did 4.6 QTS of 05-30w Valvoline HM oil with a mixture of LM Oil Saver. Drove it around for about 30 miles, and overnight I noticed the puddle was now smaller around 3-4 inches instead of the 7-8 inches in diameter it usually is. The oil leak remained that way for a couple of weeks, it lessened but didn't stop it completely, it was still consistently leaking oil 3-4 inches in diameter. However once I hit the 700 mile mark, boy I was surprised, the leaks have lessened significantly to the point where my garage was mostly dry now. To this day it is holding oil quite nicely.I definitely recommend this to someone looking for a temporary fix, but just know it takes 500 miles or even more according to my mechanic friend for the seal to take full effect.

My car started smoking at start up due to aged rubber valve guide seals. This product fixed the problem immediately. The proper way to repair the issue is to replace the seals themselves but it's not economical in my case due to the age of the car. I'm curious to see if the oil consumption will be reduced as well.

About 80K on my 2011 BMW 328i convertible. I was getting the typical valve cover oil leak: smoking from the engine compartment and burning oil smell (from dripping onto exhaust) upon starting in the morning, and intermittently while driving. Added the Liqui Moly Oil Saver and drove normally. After about 3 weeks and over 500 miles it did not seem to be doing much for the oil leakage, but the car ran more smoothly and I noticed the oil temperature (by the dashboard gauge) was running lower than before. Then after a subsequent 250 mile round trip the leakage stopped completely. No more seepage, oil fumes, or burning smell. I was really surprised, as I was expecting to have to replace the valve cover gasket and possibly the entire valve cover which is an expensive job. My advice is to be patient with this; it does work, but you need to give it time. As stated it took about 800 miles to work for me. I would recommend taking a fairly long highway trip if possible after a bit because that seemed to make the difference in my car.

Stopped 80% of the engine oil leak from camshaft seal of my 2008 Skoda. I'm planning to add more in the next oil change.
