The green colour interacts with UV light.This molygen oil has almost completely quieted the valvetrain in my j35 v6, the idle is butter smooth, and I have noticed a consistent 28 mile increase in range.Well worth the cost.

Decided to try liquid molly in my 06 volvo with the 2.5t 5 cylinder and I'm impressed. Before my oil pressure would sit at 10 psi once warm at idle now it's at 19psi at idle. I also noticed my engine runs and idles much smother and a slight hp increase! The oil is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for after all! I will buy again

It's been 5 days since I switched my oil from Royal Purple to Liqui Moly, and I feel like I can now give an honest review. Many people I talked to didn't like that I'm buying fancy, overpriced oil, suggesting I change it more frequently to save money. Well, after just 5 days of daily driving my 2014 Chevy Tahoe, I've noticed some differences. Please note, I'm not a mechanic; I'm just sharing my opinion. While I have some experience turning a wrench, my car knowledge is slightly above average. Over the past 5 days, here are some things I've noticed: I had a very quiet lifter tick before this oil change, which is now 100% gone. The only thing you can hear is the pure V8 rumble. The oil pressure went up slightly (see pics) when cold, and idling sits pretty high, almost at 40 PSI. Once warmed up, it's more around 28-30 PSI. Before the switch, it sat at around 20 (warm) and 30 (cold). Every time I've taken it on the highway, I stomp on the gas to get up to speed, and the needle is almost touching 60 PSI. So, it seems the oil is flowing better, and the internals are getting proper lubrication. MPG hasn't improved; it won't go lower than 15 mpg, and the highest I've gotten is 15.5 mpg (I have a heavy foot, and I have all terrain tires on my Tahoe). Also, I have the plug-in AFM disabler, so it's in V8 mode all the time. It's not much more expensive than what I was paying before. The total price for oil and filter comes out to $90.36 after tax, while I was paying about $75 for the Royal Purple high mileage oil I used before. So far, the pros are quiet lifters and improved oil flow. Cons are it's more expensive and harder to get (only at Amazon/NAPA). You can obviously use what you want, but for those interested in trying it out, here you go! In my opinion it’s just cheap insurance for your motor. Sure you can buy cheap oil and change it more frequently or you can buy Liqui Moly and maximize the life of your motor.

My 2004 Audi A4 2.0i used to burn almost 2 litres of oil per 1000km. I was looking for a way to fix the problem. Friend of mine recommended to flush the engine using liqui moly engine flush and to use this oil.The combination gave a new life to my car. It now burns only 0.25l of oil per 1500km. The oil stays clear even after 3000km and that means the oil don't lose its properties after It's heated up in your engine. It is a bit expensive, but for the money you get an oil that is a real fully-synthetic oil. Another plus point is that the engine runs as smooth as silk, I couldn't tell if the engine was on or off. Totally recommend it if your VW/Audi(or any other car) burns too much oil.

OverviewI'm using this is a 2015 Audi Q5 (2.0 TFSI) that has excess oil consumption (about 1 litre every 1900 kms)Oil consumption was as high as 1 litre every 650 kms before the PCV valve was replaced. My current assumption is that the excess pressure from the faulty PCV damaged some gaskets.I'm sold on Liqui Moly products (as was recommended by my mechanic, he specialized in Audis) This is the first time I have tried this particular product, in hopes it can help identify any micro oil leaks (there is nothing dripping onto the driveway and no blue smoke)The oil is greenish, because it has an additive that make the oil glow florescent green under UV light. This additive burns off in about 800 kms. I tested it on the week-end and it does show that there is a slight sweating of oil around the oil pan...but nothing sufficient to explain the oil consumption. Did not solve my problem but did work as advertised. Pros-Helps ID oil seepage (with a proper UV light)-Typical Liqui Moly 5W40 just with an additiveCons-PriceyRecommendation – Would buy it again (only if I need to chase down an oil leak) and would recommend.
