Took 5 minutes to install. I believe the Lippert and Bauer are the same thing. I replaced a Bauer keyed RV door lock with the Lippert Keyless RV door lock and was a perfect fit. I tried one the the RVLock brand locks and I couldn't get the door closed on my 2025 Grand Design 22MLE so I figured I would go with the same brand that the RV came with and I am glad I did. The bluetooth works great through the Compass app from Grand design. Looking forward to being able to use this in the upcoming season.

Easy to install and performs as described. The only drawback is the code and the app only lock and unlock the deadbolt lock and not the second lock on the panel.

We had just purchased an Alpha Wolf camper with tempered glass doors. We had already ordered another door lock and it wouldn’t fit. There is no adjustment on a glass door. The Lippert brand fit perfect. It was simple to install and set the combination of our choice. We love it.

Overall, the locking mechanism seems nice. As you can see from the pictures, the numbers in the keypad are upside-down, not a deal breaker but annoying. The Bluetooth only works when you are right on top of the door, so you might as well punch in the code or use the key at that point. The package comes with replacement door jam plates, but they do not give you all the screws. In total you need 8 screws for this product but they only provide 6, and that's from user manual. The door jam plate for the RV side has to be used since the door latch & the locking bolt require a bigger hole, however it is not shaped properly. As it comes out of the box, once you get the cover on the door jam, the actual door will not shut as the plate sticks out to far. My husband had to bang the plate down to flat then reshape it in order for to for to get the door shut, and he has to make new screw holes in the RV for jam. For the money, you would think it would be better.

My husband installed it and he's good at this stuff....it was no problem for him. The problem he had was his lack of patience with the lock/unlock feature using the bluetooth. It does not lock or unlock immediately...it may take 10 seconds or less. I love when I come home with my hands full of groceries and before I leave the car I unlock the door using the bluetooth, grab my bags and when I come to the door all I have to do is open it. Very nice! If you're not using the bluetooth and touching the keys on the door pad, there's no delay in lock or unlock. Absolutely a great investment and my kids don't need to have a cumbersome key to bring with them when they come over to tend to feeding animals when we're gone.

I have my camper set up permanently in the dry. This locked worked good for about two weeks. The first time the temp dropped to about 40° touch pad went out. I pushed on the numbers about 50 times and was able to revive it for a few days the it completely quit working. It's like most of Lipperts products, appear to be quality, fits and is what you were looking for, but just won't last. Going for round two with another brand.

Product is super easy to install. Pairing with Bluetooth took a few tries to work (closing and re-opening the app worked). My unit arrived with upside numbers. Lippert owned the issue and shipped out a new unit pronto. We love the features of the lock and not having to have a key.
