Very nice little charger with minimal heating. It's not super fast but it does what it supposed to do.

Can’t charge a battery for 10 minutes without the battery getting super hot, took it off the battery charger and through it away right after waste of your money, has no charge speed, I would not say it’s safe at all

Grandson loved the way it charged his batteries better than the stock charger.

Started with the 10 watt version of this, dropped it on the floor and a tiny sliver of mosfet chip broke lose. Not worth fixing not safe to fix. Giving this one a little break-in torture test, I charged all seven of my batteries in a row, starting with 3s 2200mah and alternating with 2s 1,500 mAh. So far everything has been easy peasy, the charger is charging the 2S batteries to 8.4v and the 3s ones to 12.4 volts.Several reviews here have mentioned that this inexpensive unit runs hot, even dangerously so. Well I got out of my ir temp gun and checked it several times especially on 3s charges. I made a lot of measurements and the hottest outside temperature I found that on the case was 110 Fahrenheit which is warm but not much warmer than my Galaxy phone guess. Air convecting from the top of the passive cooling slots was no hotter than 91 F. I checked every square centimeter of it including along all the connectors plugs and wires and the most critical thing I can say is that some of them were slightly above object room temperature 🤒I'm not sure if it counts as a negative in a device that's inexpensive but if you want to know how close your charging battery is too full, you're going to need to get out your multimeter...
