1 Fully charged is recommended for all new batteries. After completing 2-3 charge & discharge cycles, the battery will achieve the optimum battery capacity.
2 Disconnected the charging unit from power source when not in use
3 Store batteries at moderate temperature. If batteries will be unused for extended period, remove it from devices and keep it under normal indoor room conditions
4 If at all possible, avoid fully charged and discharge the battery

Take a look at the photo. Does that look safe? Because its not. If you open one of these USB to FireWire adapters up there's nothing but glue and some wires. USB and FireWire are incompatible standards.Don't damage your computer by buying this.

This product does not convert firewire to usb, it contains no circuitry to convert, it just wires one set of pins to the other. Don't buy, you can seriously damage your computer! Amazon should remove this or explain that it does not work as claimed.

connected converter directly to motherboard. Received error message that USB device required to much power and entire computer froze. Restarted computer and ensured that it was the only device connected to motherboard stack, and same message occurred.Returned unit.
