Mason drill bit that comes with the screws is manufactured outta round so it wobbles when trying to drill the pilot hole. Typical Chinese junk, nothing made in that country is worth a penny!

The drill bit at the end look bent, this causes a larger hole, I got some other bits and the screws finally tighten and not keep spinning.

The two provided carbide drills work perfectly to drill the hole into the concrete walls.I used one bit for approximately 30 holes (mounting peg board frame to basement wall).My hammer drill and this drill bit made quick work of drilling the holes. It even got me through a few rocks in the concrete that were in the path of the drill.My tip, be sure you drill the hole 1/8-1/4 deeper than you think you need. When the screws "suck up" in the wood they penetrate slightly deeper into the concrete.The hole diameter is perfect for these concrete screws. I used a socket attachment for my battery impact drill and the screws went in quickly and securely. I could not get them to pull out. The test piece of wood was totally destroyed and the screw did not budge.Some other similar concrete screws like this would have the heads twist off as they 'sucked up' under the pressure of my impact drill. These did not!I did not have any hint of compromise on the shank or the head. I was simply amazed.Very pleased with the quality of the screws, ease of insertion, and the functionality of the provided drill bits.This is a great set for slightly less than big box stores yet shipped straight to your home.
