Our yarn is rated as CYC #4 Medium and works well with knitting needles sizes 7–9 and crochet hooks size I-9 to K 10 1/2. I really love this yarn because it's consistent, strong, soft, and it feels squishy and holds its shape. The color is bright, yet subtle because it's not solid-there's a multi-tone effect with an ivory base color and the blue and green throughout giving an ombre effect. It's really durable, machine washable, and a good value for the money--you get a lot of yarn! I use size ≈5mm crochet hook standard Aran weight.

I have crocheted a lovely lap blanket with the Mandala Ombre yarn and am in the process of working on another one. I love this yarn. The colors are pretty and go together well.

Love this yarn. I can't believe it's acrylic. This would be great for baby items, because it's really soft. I love to squeeze the skein. It is #4/medium weight, but it feels slightly thinner than traditional acrylic yarn. I'm not sure how the manufacturer creates this yarn, but it's not bulky or fuzzy. I will definitely buy this brand again.

The yarn is pretty, and it works up well, and it's great that it's made of a washable fiber. However, every ball of this yarn that I have bought (several, to make a blanket) with has contained multiple knots. Knots that are not secure and have to be cut out and retied. A couple of them have even been undone by the time I get to them within the skein. Extra annoyingly, sometimes they will tie two totally separate colors together, which ruins the ombre that this yarn is supposed to produce. For the price of this yarn, it should not have this many knots.

I love this yarn. it is soft and colorful, and a joy to work with. To date i have ordered 8 cakes in various colors and am awaiting delivery of a pack of three more. I have been using the Mandala ombre to crochet ladies beanies which I have donated to a women’s shelter. I now plan to use this yarn to crochet an afghan in my favorite color combination, Serene.

Pros: it is a beautiful color set and it is super soft and squishy. Very easy to work with, and with the mantra worked into a granny square blanket, it looks like a ripple of water. It pulls smoothly from the cake, and isn't to slick to tie knots.Cons: The rolls I got all had been end of the rolls on the line and were connected through factory knots, so the colorway wasn't always consistent. I had to cut and piece it together at times. The yarn itself isn't tightly wound so if you aren't paying too close attention you can snag it on your hook and make a very ugly bump on your project. Granted, that could be me, but I don't usually have that issue with other brands of yarn.
