About this item

  • 【2-PORT POE SPLITTER】This 2-port POE extender is designed to supply POE power to two POE devices through one Cat5E/6 cable, and no power adapter is required. It is powered by 48V or 53V PoE Switch/POE NVR/PoE Injector/Mid-span. With this POE splitter, users can easily add extra POE device or non-POE device to existing cable without running a new network cable.
  • 【UP TO 330FT POE + DATA EXTENTION】Extra 330ft POE+Data transmission will be extended with one Linovision POE Extender. And it supports two levels cascade deployment, therefore total 1,000ft POE + Data transmission is provided. (The 2nd POE Extender’s POE Input should be connected to the 1st POE Extender’s Out port, not Camera port)
  • 【COMPLIANT TO IEEE802.3AF/AT STANDARD】This POE Extender works with all standard IEEE802.3af/at POE Switches/POE injectors/POE NVRs. And the POE Outputs supply power to standard POE devices (don't support 24V POE Devices) , like POE IP camera/IP phone/IP speaker. Noted: The CAMERA Port supports max 8W power consumption and the OUT Port supports max 15W. The max bandwidth is 100Mbps. As the distance increases, the power and the bandwidth will decrease.
  • 【EASY TO CONFIGURE IP CAMERA ON SITE】By interting this PoE-Extender02 to an existing PoE cable, installers can use laptop or CCTV Tester to easily adjust camera angle and configure IP
  • 【PLUG-N-PLAY INSTALLATION】Plug-n-Play, no configuration or setup is required. With compact dimension ( 3.1”* 2” * 1”), enough to fit many junction boxes or outdoor waterproof enclosures.
  • 【Versions Notes】The product currently has 2 versions, and the 2 versions are shipped randomly. Please rest assured that except for the different panels, the functions of the two versions are the same.

Excellent Compatibility and Safety

  • Using hardware IEEE802.3af/at PoE chipset, it automatically powers up PD device with 4 steps (PD Detection -> PoE Classification -> Start Up -> Power ON). It allocates appropriate power to IEEE802.af/at PoE devices, and no power for non-PoE devices. It ensures high safety for PoE and Non-PoE devices

Key Specification

PoE Input 1*10/100 Base-T RJ45 port; Compliant to IEEE802.3af/at PoE standard;
PoE Output 2*10/100 Base-T RJ45 ports; CAMERA Port: compliant to IEEE802.3af PoE standard, max 8W power consumption; OUT Port: compliant to IEEE802.3af/at PoE standard, max 16W power consumption;
Transmission Distance Each PoE Extender will extend extra 330ft PoE + Data transmission; Two levels cascade deployment is supported, and total power consumption of PoE devices is less than 25W. (60W PoE Injector is required for cascade deployment)
PoE Status Indicator Green LED: PoE Power Act Status ; Yellow LED: Ethernet Data Link Status;Working status: the green light is always on, and the yellow light is flashing
PoE Pin Assignment(PoE Input) Support PoE Mode A and Mode B: Both 1/2(-), 3/6(+) and 7/8(-), 4/5(+)
PoE Pin Assignment(PoE Output) Support PoE Mode A and Mode B: Both 1/2(-), 3/6(+) and 7/8(-), 4/5(+)
Power consumption <=3W (or 30W with PoE device connected)
Working Humidity 10%~90%
Working Temperature -30°C ~ 65°C or -22 ℉ ~ 149 ℉

  • No, it does not require local power supply. This PoE extender is powered by PoE devices (48V or 53V PoE Switch/PoE NVR/PoE Injector/Mid-span).

  • This PoE Extender is not waterproof, there is a version with waterproof box, please search ASIN: B0DK181932.

  • Yes, Our PoE Extender supports connecting PoE devices and non-PoE devices. When connecting non-PoE devices, only data is transmitted, the non-PoE devices need to be powered separately.

  • The main reason is that the load capacity of two PoE outputs exceeds the power input of PoE Extender. In this way, please try to use 60W high PoE injector or mid-span to fix this issue.

  • Basically, the load capability depends on the PoE supply device, the total power consumption of two PoE output is less than the PoE power input. We recommend to use 60W High PoE injector to connect to the PoE extender.

Works great but needs POE+ source to run two POE cameras. They do get warm to the touch if powering two cameras but nothing to worry about. I’ve installed them both indoor and outdoor and they work great.

Linovision is a preferred supplier. We purchased this as a simple PoE switch. Cameras worked fine over http but rtsp failed until we adjusted our software “Live555 stream transport settings”. Very happy now. Support from Linovision was super fast and friendly.

I needed to add a camera to the garage but did not like the idea of running another wire to the switch. This device allows you to use an existing wire to add another camera. Apparently, the voltage coming from the POE switch is enough to support more than one camera. I'm very happy to have run into this extender.

I'm a network engineer of 30 years and tried this product on multiple POE products including Unifi switches. The lights never came on, the product never worked. For me it was a waste of money and time; I would recommend avoiding this product.

Went thru several brands/models of these before I found this one that worked. Using it to power a PoE camera and also a second PoE to 12V adapter for an extra IR floodlight off the same network drop. Works great!

Ordered two units, one was DOA. Other one works to power two ip cameras, but after a day both went offline. Had to reset Poe switch. Went offline again a day later.They offered replacement or refund with no hassle so I gave 4 stars for that.

My POE switch has only one port available and total power wise its running 50% below max. Tested it with two Hikvision fixed lens cameras that pulled about 5 watts each. Power cycled, about six separate times, the POE LAN port that is connected to the IN on this unit (PoE Extender02), every time the NVR system reconnected both cameras without a problem. Didn't try to replicate rookie mistakes of running at max spec for this unit as it always is safe and saves time to run under specs, why? cause functionality is always the premium.

I needed to add a second POE camera in a location where I already had one. I really didn't want to run another Ethernet cable, so I purchased this to run both POE cameras off the one cable and it works! I was so happy that the POE could power this switch along with both cameras. Not only that, but there is about 150-200' of CAT5e cable between the primary POE switch and this switch - and it still works! Couldn't be happier.

This is a fantastic product, easy installation and well worth time and savings of not having to install a new wire all the way back to the switch room. I used this to add an IP Camera out in the field and jumped off an existing camera out there, saved a lot of time and money. Thanks

This device works as advertised, it will take a single PoE line in and provide two PoE lines out. HOWEVER: make sure you mount this device where you can easily get to it. I have installed two of these units on separate projects, and in the event of power loss, they will not reset properly. Both ports turn on at the same time and neither one will grab an IP address. The only remedy I have found is to unplug one of the cameras, wait about five seconds, then plug it back in. At that point, both cameras will obtain IP addresses again.
