I've used a ton of different printmaking materials, and I'm pretty impressed with this option. It's softer than traditional linoleum, making it so much easier to carve, but is able to retain little details much better than pink rubber blocks or other soft materials. I like that it comes in such a large size, too. Typically, finding softer material in large blocks like this is pretty difficult. Definitely a welcome option in the printmaking materials world, in my opinion.

I had recently bought a beginner block printing set for my teen and this was such a nice addition to that set. It was very big. My teen literally cut it into smaller segments to use multiple times and it was perfect for that. It seems to be of good quality and was easy for him to carve and create multiple designs on.
