It is unbelievable how small these pants are. I bought a size 8/9 and they look like they’d fit a 4 yr old. Returning and not reordering as I don’t even know what size I’d buy when it’s that far off.

I only gave this product two stars because it is a nice material. However, that doesn't matter if my son can't even wear them. I followed the listed sizing chart, which says that an XL is a 10/12 and 35" long. As you can see, they're a full 6" shorter than that, and would be capri pants on my 11 yr old son. Now I see why it's a frequently returned item. I wish I had known that when I placed my order. Since I was shopping early for Christmas and he just opened the box today, I'm unable to return them. Very disappointed!

The waist is quite big compared to the length of these making them more of a "husky" fit. Luckily they come with a belt which, the belt loops aren't big enough to slide the buckle through so you have to feed it through at an angle. And pretty sure I read in another review that the zipper on the leg was scratchy and that's the same thing my son said! Mainly bought for part of his Halloween costume so we will make them work.
