Wires should be longer. The box is not water proof so it should go in the cab of the vehicle. But the wire are not long enough to reach.

For one the lengths of the lights cords are super short and barely will reach anything but only 4 out of the eight work I’ve done drilled holes in my truck to find out they suck and barely work

Great lights and easy to install, the only set back was the length of the wires. Installed on a Ram 1500 and it was a little short, changed plan and got everything lined up. Very pleased with the result and super bright. Great for the price.

The product is great. Wish the cords were longer. I installed them and found out that one of the strobes came defective so 7 out of the 8. Hope I can get one shipped to me but besides that great product! Super bright at night as well as during the day!

I wired these up on my vehicle and they work well. If I have any negative comments about these is they don’t offer a ‘break’ in the wire that allows you to run the wiring through the firewall without cutting the wire or creating a large hole in your firewall. I opted to cut the wire since my application was in a large vehicle that required me to add more wire to most of the lights. There was another application, I wired these to my front grill and side running boards, that required me to shorten the other lights that I wired to my running boards. The box that houses the control board for each light is not waterproof so you have to put that inside your vehicle.Lastly these lights requires holes to bolt to each light to your application, there is nothing that have a “suction power” to vote on! Everything is either bolt on or stick on.

Purchased these recently for my Pilot vehicle. Tested right out of box and they are indeed very bright. Box arrived with adequate packaging and all contents were accounted for.One thing I assumed (yeah, I know . . .) was that with all the various flash patterns listed there would be at least one pattern that would allow some independent flashing of the lights. For example since there are total of 8 lights and the control box has 8 channels, it would allow for say lights 1 & 3 flash on while lights 2 & 4 would be off. There doesn't really seem like any logical explanation on why the manufacturer would have 8 independent connections with no visual difference in the 8 lights. The way I see it is they could have had 1 red and 1 black connection at the control box and just "home runned" all the lights into the control box -- even sharing a common wire from a location (like the rear of the vehicle). One thing to note also is that I ran 4 of the light from the rear of my Ram PU and you will need to splice some additional wire for it to reach (I mounted my controller in my engine compartment). I wish the manufacture would offer a kit with additional wire lengths with their proprietary connections for a cleaner finished job. The wires are fairly thin and I spliced with a bit bigger 18G wire. With all this said, the lights look good. I'm anxious to use them to see if other drivers respond better (I use my truck as a Pilot vehicle and trying to get other drivers attention to stop or slow down can be difficult in some cases). I think the white portion of the lights will help with getting other drivers attention, although in some states local authorities don't allow for non emergency vehicles to run white strobing lights. If that is the case where you live you can always use some of the Amber lense tape to cover that portion of the lights.*************************NOTE: After some playing around with switching the connections at the main control box, I was indeed able to get the flash pattern on the lights to have half of them flashing on and off and the other half flashing when the other 4 were off. So with that said, my "All on, All off" headline really isn't true. Given that, I am changing my overall rating from 4 stars to 5. In the 3 weeks or so of having them mounted on my truck, I've been through some heavy rains - following oversized loads with much spray on the front of the truck and haven't had any "weather" related issues with them to this point.
