These were my first embossing powders to ever use. Very easy to use and they are a soft, pearlescent, hue of color- which I wanted. I used them on white cardstock and could easily still see the color.

Four out of the 5 colors look pretty good. Unfortunately the purple looks gray after it is embossed with the embossing gun. You can only tell it is purple if you move the paper sideways to look at it. I was pretty disappointed with this. Also, they leave a pearlescent type residue on your paper, hands or anything else they might touch. Another thing I noticed is that they do not melt as fast as other embossing powders I have so you have to be careful you don't start burning the paper before they actually melt. I considered returning them, but compared to anything else I've found they are a good price for the amount you get and I do love the colors included in this set. One thing that was kinda neat that I did by accident was...I already had embossed something with black on the same testing sheet as I was using with these embossing powders. I had used the purple next to that black embossing. After I finished with the purple embossing sample and wiped everything away, I noticed the black embossed item had a purplish shine to it when moved around in the light. I'm not sure exactly how this happened. I'm going to have to experiment to see if I can replicate it.

I’m new to card making and I just love this in Bossing powder it made the most beautiful card. I’m very impressed with it and will definitely buy some more even though the jars are very small a little bit goes along way.

The colors of these powders are very pale and sheer. Easy to use and embossed just fine. If you are looking for light and sheer, look no further, this is it!

Fantastic quality easy to use. Wonderful colors works well with the heat gun for embossing powders. Very opaque and has a good sheen. Coverage is really good too! Colors mix well for great experimental effects! Fun to use and goes a long way! Very satisfied! Quality product!!!!
