Brought the box into the house and set it down for a minute then picked it up to go to the gargage. Then was poison crystal everywhere! Threw it in the garage then threw the cats in the bathroon. Spent 3 hours cleaning kitcheh, floors & carpet. Hope I got them all because if the cats find one little crystal I'll have dead pets onmy hands!! I now note complaints of this very problem going back 10 years. So they clearly don't care!! Mark me has pissed off!

I didn't realize it was broken open inside the package. I carried it into my house, spilling it all over the place behind me. not realizing it was pouring out of the box behind me. The outer box was fine, the inner wrapping had came off the container causing it to bang around until it was broken open. :(

Instructions for use call for application in spring and fall. I discovered I had a heavy moss infestation on my shed roof in early winter but I used it anyway. I swept the roof with a heavy broom to get rid of as much of the moss as I could and then sprinkled the Moss Out on. I went up on the roof yesterday (mid-February) and it appears that almost all of the moss is dead. This spring I will sweep the roof and apply the Moss Out again. Works well. Easy to apply. Sprinkler built in.

I've got a lot of pine trees by my house which leads to moss growing on my roof about once every year. I drop this once per year and my roof is completely clean within a week and then moss free for about a year. Needs a few precautions in regards to application but works very well.A few recommendations...The stuff comes out very fast so apply this with the container staying mostly vertical.Apply more at the top of the roof.Don't apply this on a windy day. The stuff will melt into the roof a bit after getting wet. A light hose spray works well. If you apply on a hot dry windy day the stuff will blow right off.

we were concerned about how to find an affordable and competent pressure washing company to get the moss off our shingle roof. Our first quote was over $1500! This did the job with no mess and no trouble. If your roof is not too high or difficult to access, definitely try this first.

Been using this for 50 years - best, economical moss, algae, and (most) lichen control for shingle roofs. If using on a badly mossed roof, you need to scrape off worst of the moss, treat, then after it dies (about a month) hose and broom off the debris and underlying dirt it was growing in, then retreat as a preventative. I found needed semi-annual for first year or two, now only every third year or so - partly because all the moss gave up the ghost by the end of the first year, partly because the shingles probably retain a lot between applications. Less than 1/3 cost of some competing products that don't work as well. My recommendation - forget the spray-on (including Lilly Miller) and stay with the shake-on granules - last WAY longer.

I found that it was pretty effective in killing the moss on the roof. I applied it rather liberally to insure that it would work as this was my first time using the product. After a number of rainy days and some clear sunny days the moss was indeed killed. The bad part is that you have to scrape away to dry, dead moss. I read that you can power wash but since I did not have a power-washer handy I opted to scrape, with a wooden dowel, the dead moss from the shingles. Not an overly difficult chore but it takes a bit of time depending upon the size of the area treated and the density of the growth. I will buy this product again as I am rather satisfied overall with the results.
