I have used these for all my kids. So easy to mix into foods to introduce your children to allergens frequently/often.

These were so easy to use to introduce all the allergens. The only thing i that the directions tell you to introduce one allergen per day for 7 days then repeat. My husband and I are in the medical field and knew that this didn’t make sense because if your kid has a reaction to something, how would you know which allergen he’s reacting to? So we introduced one packet type for 4 days in a row and then moved on to the next one. And the only other thing I’ll mention is that the sesame one makes whatever you’re sprinkling it in supppppper thick, so we had to break one packet up into like 3 meals because when we put one whole packet into his puree it literally turned it into a cement.

I was nervous about testing early allergens at home and these packets make it very easy to do so. I started with a smaller amount than what was recommended and then increased the amount once I felt safe that my baby could do more.I started mixing this in with baby oatmeal and then baby cereal, and then progressed to putting this on top of his solid foods. Would definitely purchase again for future babies!

Our pediatrician brought up the need to introduce common food allergens for all three of our kids (early introduction helped reduce the risk they will develop food allergies by ~80%). Some are easier to do than others, but the LilMixins box had all the allergens in neat little packs (apparently the evidence based amounts too) so you can just tear open and mix into your baby/toddler's oatmeal, cereal or milk etc. Great idea that makes our lives a bit easier and part of preventing food allergies for our kiddos.

This is a super cool idea and the packets are very easy to use. Unfortunately, my baby hated them and went on a food strike until we offered plain food without a powder. It didn't matter to her what it was mixed into; we tried oatmeal and two different brands of puree in several flavors. She even rejected her favorite food with a mixin.Again, a fabulous idea and I wished it had worked for my little one. Just be aware that if your baby is sensitive to texture, this may not work.

I love this option for introducing allergens to my baby. The main thing that sold me on these vs. other similar products was the fact that each allergen is separate as opposed to mixed together. Some companies mix and if your child has an allergic reaction there’s no way of knowing which ingredients caused it. This product allows you to easily keep track and know exactly what (if anything) baby is allergic to.I started using them when my child was 6 months old and just starting out on cereals/purées so I would only mix about 1/4-1/3 of the packed in each meal. As baby eats more I use more of each pack. The packets are color coded and easily labeled in the box which makes it easy to know what you’re serving. My baby seems to enjoy all of the flavors and so far we’ve had no adverse reactions. The only negative worth noting is that the egg powered is very lumpy and that texture was tough for a baby brand new to eating to actually eat—I wish it was a true powder like the rest.Overall these are great and I’d highly recommend!
