Perfection. Highly recommended. Bought for a hiking challenge but will definitely use for future hikes.

It’s lightweight and comes with a nice water bladder. There was plenty of space for a change of clothes, lunch, drinks, and snacks. The straps are wide and comfortable on the shoulders and they fasten snuggly around the chest to keep it in place while on the move. Good quality, good price, lightweight, comfortable!

Bought it for running, and ended up using it for more than just running. Many pockets and is very useful, very comfortable on my back.

TLDR; Backpack good, Bladder kinda bad.In terms of a small, light, and portable backpack, this checks a lot of boxes. The front storage pouches are great for phones or other small items you want readily available. I cannot attest to how long the backpack will last, but nothing seems overly concerning for light use.The support of the backpack is nonexistent. What I mean is that this backpack is very packable - it's like a jellyfish. There are no firm structural components. I thought the straps would have some type of breathable foam cushion based on the images, but they do not, it's 100% fabric. However, the design really allows the backpack to fit snugly against the torso in a non-restricting way. If you're just looking for a backpack, this may be $5-$10 too expensive. The -2 stars really comes from the water bladder. Quality, durability aside, the issue in the short AND long term is that it's really not easily cleanable OR air dryable. Please take a moment to reread this correctly. Water bladders hold water, and based on intended design, inevitably your spit. The bladder section is fine, and fairly typical, however, the drinking tube traps air and water. The inevitable is going to happen - mildew or mold. There is no way that I can find to easily clean this or air dry it properly. You cannot fit a cleaning brush into the openings, and there is no way to keep the tubes "open". Each end stays closed until the valve is opened and pressure is placed on the bladder. The clear tube looks to have been attached by a machine and possibly heat gun for a firm fit. I will monitor how this bladder does, but I fear that I may need to accept that I'll need to break the "bladder" in order to clean it and possibly replace the actual tubing. So, going back to $5-$10 too much - I feel like I'll end up getting another, cleanable bladder that I'll pair with this, which will cost, you guessed it, $5-$10.That makes total cost of ownership in the potential mid to longer term, depending on how hygienic you are, around $35-$40. At which point, Osprey, with a lifetime warranty, is not that far away...you're 2/3s there already. Will I keep it? I'm not sure yet. I'm glad I cleaned the bladder today rather that keep it until I need it. Otherwise, I would not have discovered this issue. If there is a way to salvage the bladder, I think this is a fair buy. Walmart's Ozark Trail is the same cost, and I do like this one better.

The bag itself was in pretty good shape, and feels durable and the small whistle was clean and worked well. The water bladder and "straw"/mouthpiece is clean and dry, the mouthpiece is comfortable to use/bite.However, if you have sensitive front teeth (easy pain) I'd recommend staying away from this product; although it's easy to bite and get water, I can see how someone with teeth pain can have some issues.Decent storage space, what you'd expect from a bag this size. Straps feel small but isn't an issue at all, insulation for the backpack is a little lackluster but there's definitely insulation. As for the taste; there was no taste at all but you should definitely rinse this product out and wash it at least once just to be safe (as with any product).

I researched this category for a while and got a few to try. I am partial to Osprey for quality and comfort but wanted something I can easily pack for travel. This was the single pack I found that had all the features I was looking for: light, packable, large stretchy side pockets, expandable/stash/straps on the front to increase transport capacity, front pockets (either on waist band or, as this has, on the shoulder straps) to fit water or phone. Wicking material/construction at on back panel (and this one also has on shoulder straps. Not only is this pack feature rich and looks pretty cool (though not a fan of big branding plastered on it) but looks to be really well constructed. And comes with hydration bladder! (Though not planning on using, don't trust no-name brand plastics for my drinking needs; will use an Osprey reservoir). And so appealingly priced!! If I could give 3 thumbs up, I would!! Very enthusiastically recommended. (got one for my wife too)

I wrote a review and I got an answer. First time I used it the rubber mouth piece fell off and they told me I can buy a separate water bladder on the 25th. But on the return policy it says 30 day’s replacement so I’m not sure why I can’t get that.

Fast shipping, nice little pack with decent space. Haven't had a chance to test it out yet. Price was decent too.

Purchased this hydration pack for a planned hike in the Arizona mountains. I was very pleased with the overall look, feel, and comfort of the pack. The water bladder holds nearly 3 liters of water. Plenty for a 2-3 hour hike. Because I was expecting a long hike, I decided to freeze the pack overnight, then let it thaw before heading out. Water was of course, ice cold. It stayed cold/cool for much of the hike. I was more than pleased with the overall pocket space of the pack. I was able to store my phone in a meshed pocket that was directly on the strap. It was easily accessible. Big + for me since it was my first hike ever. I was taking pictures like crazy. As far as the pocket space on the back of the pack, there's plenty. I was able to store plenty of snacks, and other items, for the hike.My only complaint about the pack is that it didn't work properly when it came time to drink from the nozzle, or whatever it's called. Very little water, if any, came out when I tried to drink from it. I had to remove the nozzle and drink directly from the end of the hose. Not really a big deal but it was a little inconvenient to have to do this. Over and all, the pack did it's job and worked fine.
