We got for building a big lego set and making sure the pieces are in there tight. Makes it easier for kids.

I haven't used it much, but it's handy for setting finishing nails and picture hanger nails. Beats using a larger hammer.

This mallet is small and useful for a few tasks involving fine work: chiseling a small amount of material out of a delicate stone or wood, for example. I would normally expect the non-metal side to be of a rubber or rubber-like material like latex; the non-metal side in this case is a hard plastic. It doesn't really give like a latex/rubber head would do, and won't provide much damping effect. For that reason, it is missing a star; it would be only three stars if it wasn't prominently stated that the head is plastic. I just don't know what advantage that gives. The plastic end could be used to force an object directly without damage, so that's a use case. Jewelry, watches, circuit boards can be coerced as well.

I build a lot of Lego set. I’m fond of the architecture series.Sometimes those little blocks just don’t want to go where they should. Thus the mallet. This one is the perfect size and weight to get those pieces where they should be.Great product and price.

I use this steel hammer along with this brass hammer,(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRVL25SB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details)to install clock bushings by hand. The light weight hammers work perfect for this. Just set the head of this steel hammer on the bushing to hold it in place and keep it level, then tap the other end of it with the brass hammer. Does the job perfectly! Small size is perfect for carrying around in your tool box.
