This was the perfect replacement for for the button on my old Sears garage door opener. Only took five minutes to replace and the light is very bright.

Just wanted to confirm that this worked for my "Overhead door Legacy" model door opener. There is some confusion about these. Seems to be a little circuit board in them. Some may not work with some brands of door opener's. The description about this one, said works with ( I believe) 90% of all openers. BTW, it does come with screws. However if your was mounted like my old one was. Just screwed directly into the sheetrock. You might want to pickup a couple of mollies that will work for the #4 screws that come with it.

Just stopped working and light went out - wiring has current so not sure what the problem is.

Easy to install, work perfectly, visible in interior daylight. Take my advice and predrill the mounting screws, I didn't and promptly stripped them.
