First, let me say I am not a newcomer to the Lightdow brand. I have several of their products and have found them well worth the price. Now the rest of the story (as Paul Harvey would say). I have created a 'filter sharing system' for the magnetic lens filter sets I use. The 'system' uses a step-up ring for each lens front size I use (43mm through 77mm) and the filter side of the step-up rings are all 77mm. I actually have 2 sets of magnetic filters, one @ 77mm (bought this set first before I really understood sharing filters) and a better set (some say the best on the market but that's a different issue) @ 95mm. I have configured a series of step-up rings that allow the sharing of the 77mm set on each lens. I also use a 77mm to 95mm 'master' step-up ring that allow me to share the use of the 95mm filters on each lense too.I needed a pouch, bag, what-have-you to put the XXmm to 77mm step-up rings into (they have threads on the lens side and magnetic attraction on the filter side of the step-up ring). While I could have just thrown the rings all together in a bag, pouch, box, etc. I did not want to take a chance of scuffing up the threads, so I got the Lightdow Filter Bag, first because it had the lowest price of the filter pouches I had considered, and it also had enough pockets for my set of rings. When I received the Lightdow filter pouch, I was pleasantly surprised. The pouch itself is made of a water-resistant material, well-constructed, and with a solid closing zipper to help shed water should the need arise while the inside is made of a smooth silk like material that should not scratch the glass surfaces. The pockets are large enough to store my series of step-up rings as discussed above with plenty of room. The thickness of the step-up rings is such that the pouch zips up snug but not tight when all 8 filter pockets are filled (luckily 8 was exactly the number I needed). All in all, a very nice pouch for the cost and quality of the material and construction. If you are in need of a small filter pouch like this, take a closer look at the Lightdow model.

This is a great idea of a product but the problem I have is that you can’t really comfortably fit each space with a filter. The design is made to compress itself to zip close but if you happen to have all the filter slots filled, it will not be easy to close.

It is made to hold the lens or filters for your camera. No moving parts, and the fabric looks to be of good quality.

I've had this case for a few months now and it's survived a few road trips in my 40L backpack. I primarily have 67mm K&F Filters in mine, and two adapters. The padding between the compartments is suitable for keeping things organized and clean with some padding for protection. I've dropped it once while closed, all safe and sound. For the price, it's certainly nice to have in your bag, but if brand names with tattoos on your fingers and big rings make you feel hip and creative, you may want to buy something more trendy. This is as simple and affordable of a filter case as you could get. Perfect for my line of photography and my budget. It certainly beats 10 plastic lens cases falling all over the place. A solid choice.

I went with this case because I liked the looked of it better than the other larger hard sided cases. I have 10 filters in this case, which is the limit, but it really adds some thickness. The case is may 1.5 - 2in wide when zipped and full of filters. It still fits nicely in may camera bag and I really like it! If you don't mind a little chunkiness to a case, I would recommend it! The padding is nice and plush, I have had 0 worry about cracking or breaking any filters after I get it zipped up! For the price, you can't go wrong!
