Got this for my kiddo - when unboxed, I was a bit disappointed by the size. Even smaller than I have imagined.But she was happy by the look - its ability to adjust brightness and color is great. She set it up on a small shelf in her room and it fits perfectly. It’s made Of plastic so if it falls off the shelf, it likely won’t survive.

These LED lights have been a pleasant surprise. Right out of the box, the setup was simple and intuitive. The lights are bright, and they connect together seamlessly, making it easy to cover a larger space without fussing over connections. Once installed, they just work perfectly, and the variety of settings is genuinely impressive. You can customize brightness, colors, and patterns to fit whatever mood or environment you need.The Good:Brightness: These lights are exceptionally bright, making them stand out compared to other similar products.Easy Connection: The segments snap together effortlessly, creating a continuous lighting experience with no noticeable gaps.Reliable Performance: Once installed, they just function as expected, which is not always the case with budget-friendly LED lights.Size: It's a good size. 8 inches tall or so.Versatile Settings: You get plenty of options for color, effects, and brightness, making it easy to get exactly what you want.The Bad:App Dependency for Custom Text: If you want to display any text over four letters, you need to download an app, which raises some privacy concerns. The app is from a relatively unknown brand, which can be worrying for those who are cautious about data security.Letter shape: Some letters (like the P) dont stand up well on their own. They do stand up but putting htem on a table is a bit more challenging than... well I guess it's just a bit annoying.The Okay:App Usability: The app itself is functional but not particularly intuitive. You have to pair each individual light controller first, and then group them together within the app. Once grouped, however, programming the display becomes easier and works smoothly.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for bright, easy-to-install LED lights with customizable settings, these are a fantastic choice. Just be prepared to navigate the app for more advanced features, and be mindful of the privacy concerns associated with lesser-known brands. Overall, the quality and functionality outweigh the minor drawbacks, making this a solid purchase.

I ordered three of these characters, hoping that I can daisy-chain them together and connect them to a smart switch. Technically, I am able to do so, but they are not designed to be that way as they have an in-line switch on the USB cable. That wasn’t all that big of a deal. My biggest grip is having the two letters, and ordering the ampersand sign, and having the order canceled on me. This was a problem because of the wall decor design that I had in mind. I was mildly annoyed with that. However, that does not impede the fact that the letters do work nicely and as intended.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my great niece who is 7. Like most her age, she is into being a singing diva, and a bossy drama queen with her own domaine. This worked perfectly. It arrived when promised and was even charged.

Got this for my stepdaughter's bedroom. She's all in on strip lighting and having a colorful room so this will fit that motif. It's not a huge letter by any means so it will fit nicely on a dresser and not require a lot of space. I'd call it a nice additional touch but by no means a show stopper.
