JCHL lifting slings are made with the industry standard Polyester webbing. Polyester allows for minimal stretch while under load and excellent wear properties.
Both looped ends are wrapped with a wear resistant cover giving additional protection at the contact points, providing more durability when attaching to bow shackles or over hooks.

Attachment methods
Each lifting sling will carry different capacities depending upon how it is being used; Vertical, Choker, Basket. Always confirm the capacity of your sling is suitable for your attachment method. 6,500 lbs Vertical, 5,200 Choker, 13,000 Basket Load Capacity

These straps were purchased for the hoist I got to give the hoist a softer grip than the metal hook it come with. However, they were quite long and I had to wrap the straps around the handle several times to shorten the straps and the strap handles were too wide for the hook. Still worked, for which I am glad. Allowed me to lift the 130 lb item to over 6 feet and put into place.

Used these straps for lifting 75 man life rafts off a ship with a davit and they were perfect. Very durable, non-slipping, wide solid staps. Excellent product
