Our silverware tray did not fit the drawer. Too small. So everything always moved around in the empty space. This organizer extends and fits snug. Now I have to find something else to complain about.

So I understand entirely how it's too short for my cooking knives but it doesn't even fit the butter knives. I'm still gonna use it but that kinda sucks. Also the sides expand to fit wider drawers and more slots for utensils.
