Purchased for my Granddaughter who loves to hang and climb on things. She loves it, as do my other 3 grandchildren (her siblings). It matches their large lifetime swing set.

Got this for our 4 and 6 year old and they absolutely love it. Great open ended play for hours on end, lots of exercise and building strength/balance etc. It's very sturdy, and heavy, which means it's pretty permenant where it's constructed (I can drag it around the lawn to mow round it, but that's about it)Bear in mind this is made of steel and is thus very heavy (and strong), so get the delivery people to deliver to where you want it. There are a lot of poles and fixings, and they all look very similar so it does take a bit of concentration to make sure you're outting it together correctly. The only thing I was a bit disappointed by was the quality of some of the bolts. During the construction two of the bolts broke. Fortunately there are spares in the pack, but it does highlight that the fixings are a bit low quality. All in all, good climbing frame!

Its so Easy to put together. Just sort out the nuts and bolts and poles and follow the instruction manual. Its took 2 of us just over 2 hours to put together. The only thing we had to borrow from a neighbour was the socket wrench to attach the climbing holds. Our garden is on a slope so i researched a lot on the best climbing frame for us. Im so very happy with my choice. Because of its structure the weight is evenly distributed and it sits firmly on the ground without anchors. We stole the idea from another reviewer on here and added a disc swing in the middle, and the kids LOVE it. We have also attached an 8ft slide (with stong climbing rope) to the top horizontal bar. This works for us as our garden is on a slope and the slide faces up the slope which adds a bit more stability to it, so its possible but you do it at your own risk. Our kids are 6 and 8 and i can see this getting years more use.The climbing frame is fantastic, versatile and very well made. Plus its a reasonable price for the years of fun youll get from it. Id recommend it to anyone. Im happy and the kids happy. πππ

This is one of the best purchases we have ever made for our kids. We bought this geodome in 2016 and it still standing in our backyard in brand-new condition. Not a pinch of rust, nothing has come loose and no colour fading has occurred. We have left it outside since we purchased it, through rain, beaming sun and snowy winters. The kids and their friends still absolutely love it (age 7 & 10). This isn't really a toy that the kids will outgrow quickly like swing sets & jungle gyms. The older girls like to sit on top of it and chat while the younger ones flip around and come up with tricks and games. Simply move it to mow the grass underneath and you're good to go!Assembly took 2 people about 1 hour. It was a bit tricky but absolutely doable.

I bought three of these, one for my home and two as great gifts. This thing is super sturdy and holds my svelte weight of 250lbs along with three other children without even whimpering, creaking or groaning. It's a great tool for developing, confidence, upper body strength and coordination in youngsters, and makes a terrific outdoors bed spread dryer, oh the wife is sooo imaginative.I will tell you that it is time consuming and somewhat a challenge to put together, but you will love the results.I do have to drag it around my yard to cut the grass beneath it, no problem. It has been through a microburst, nor'easters, blazing sun, damp springs, rambunctious children, all without a scratch, this thing is a tank but...Alas, the red and blue one I have began to rust out at the weep holes the manufacture cut into the crossmember stanchions to allow any water to weep out, considering that it has been out in the elements for 11 years with no care, I'm not complaining at all. What I tell people now is to cover them up for the winter where they won't sit in the snow. I would put some 2" X 4" blocks of wood underneath it to keep it off the ground in winter, it might make it to 20 years of service.

The kids love it- it's always a race to the top hand hold when they go outside. It's sturdy, and doesn't seems to flex much, if at all (I'm 6'2" 200lbs and I've climbed all over it). It's definitely helped my boys' agility and climbing confidence, and even given them a little exercise. The hand holds are nice because they cover the hardware, which means no bolt heads to scratch little arms and legs. Their small hands can get a better grip on the bars though, so they don't use the holds much, except maybe as a foot hold.Assembly is a little hectic just because there are so many pieces. If you have a good partner, once you get all the pieces laid out it's not too bad. My wife volunteered to help (which mostly meant stand there and watch me assemble it), and after I had several large sections assembled she'd hold them up in place while I bolted them together. My biggest complaint, actually probably my only complaint, is the hardware. While tightening down a bolt I snapped the head off of it. I didn't have a confident feeling when tightening the hardware, where it feels like "ok, that's as far as it's going- it's tight". It kinda felt like you could twist the head off of every bolt. Perhaps I simply over tightened it... I'm certain the hardware isn't the highest of quality, but there hasn't been any issue with the bolts breaking since it's been assembled (and climbed on, and moved several times). If it was a serious enough complaint, I would simply replace the hardware with something else, but so far it seems fine other than the one broken one.Overall we're happy with the dome climber, and I'm sure it'll get plenty of use for years to come. If you put it on the lawn, the grass will be warn thin or gone in the middle of the dome, where the kids hang drop and play around inside. So, moving it around occasionally will help keep from wearing out the grass. Or I guess you could pick a spot and put sand or mulch under it; That might offer a slightly better fall protection than flat ground as well. So far- no falls from our dome! I'm surprised, with two clumsy boys, six and three years old.

The outer box arrived beat to death, but that's not for a PRODUCT rating (unlike what so many reviewers seem to think these days.)Five stars for ease of set-up and utility the kids are getting out of it.From the start, the instructions are pretty simple to follow; toward the in it gets a bit more difficult to see what the picture is trying to imply - but the color picture on the box helps out as well. Now, even on colder wet days the kids are heading out to play in, around and on the "spider web," as they call it.Some days they use the hand-holds and rubber bands to attach sheets and make it a place for a picnic, other days they get out there and climb around and get some exercise. The product is very sturdy and the powder coating is pretty good. This could last quite a few years. Time will tell if the kids will still love it, but I can tell you this much, I haven't seen one of these in any of our neighborhood yards; nor at our two nearby neighborhood playgrounds. It makes for a nice "change of pace" for the local friends, boys or girls. So nice to see them using their imaginations OUTSIDE again.Dad has also found that the V-shaped bars make for a really sturdy Chin-up (L-sit if you are tall) and Dip station for outdoor exercise. The top horizontal bars are also wide enough for regular pull-ups (hands pronated), but don't kip because you might hit your head. If you cannot do chins and dips yet, the first level bars are good for easy angled push-ups and horizontal rows. If your legs can handle it, or you wrap a towel or short swimming noodle around a top horizontal bar, you could hang upside down from it and hit some abs. Or hang inside and do knee-ups after your chin-ups. Throw in a $10 speed rope or other calisthenics next to it for more cardio in the circuit and you can have a quick, intense workout! One could also use it for flexibility training if they were so inclined. The only drawback is also a plus - for mowing, it is pretty large and takes up quite a bit of the yard. It is not too heavy to move with two young adults. However, it is nice to have one large enough for our family of 4 to all fit on or under it depending on the use at the time. The lowest horizontal bar level may be a bit too high for shorter 5 year olds.
