I purchased these stretch cables to replace older ones that had failed. The new cables were the same design and tension rating as the failed ones. Fit perfectly in the existing exercise handles.

These are smoother than the springs but consistency of the rated tension seems an issue. Also, they break if you have a wingspan and the hard insert ends can cause serious injury. Best to always wear eye protection.

I have found the Lifeline USA Chest Expander to be an excellent fitness and rehabilitation tool - one that can easily be packed in luggage for workouts during travel. The extra cables add to its versatility, without taking up much more space or adding additional weight.

Purchased and it has been 3 months and they are broken. The white plastic under the red near the edge is coming out. This is a defective product. Very unhappy with purchase as other bands I have bought have lasted me years.

Lifeline USA cables break too easily, but I find them useful for physical therapy purposes to control neck pain. So, I will continue to purchase them.
