We have had the hoverboard for 2 years, it stopped charging in just under a month, no big deal, ordered a new cheap charger recommended by the seller. We did this another two times and about a year after the hoverboard wasn’t working and I put off buying another charger but finally did to surprise my daughter that was gone all summer. The hoverboard doesn’t work unless plugged in, so it’s useless. I contacted the seller for any tips and they said to reset it (sent me a manual that didn’t say how to reset it) and said I could take it to a repair shop. We live in Miami, I imagine buying a new one will be similar in cost so now searching better options and you should as well!!

I recently purchased the pink camo hoverboard combo for my kids, and it has quickly become their favorite toy! Not only does it look fantastic, but it also performs really well. The kids were able to learn how to ride it in no time, and they love zooming around the neighborhood. I appreciate the safety features, which give me peace of mind while they’re having fun. The build quality feels solid, and it’s held up well against some rough and tumble play. I also enjoy using it myself when they’re not around! If you’re considering a hoverboard, this one is definitely a great choice for both kids and adults. Highly recommend!

You'll find this hoverboard on amazon and elsewhere under different brand names, different colors, and maybe some different lighting.They all come in the same generic box, with the same generic manual.Overall the board works great, but battery life is pretty "meh" especially for adult/heavier riders. 70lb kids can get an hour or so of indoor use, adults over 150lb may find they get half of that.I'm generally skeptical of the specifications listed on both amazon and in the manual that comes with the book, I may do a teardown and look at the batteries eventually - to see what they're actually rated at and if they can be upgraded.- Amazon listing says this board is capable of up to riders up to 270lb, manual says 200lb is the maximum (and less than 150lb is ideal)- Amazon listing says the board can do 8mph, the manual says 6mphRegardless I like these boards, and the kids love them and adults do too - after a couple hours of practice I think most kids will have it down pat.The biggest downside is the battery life, it takes hours to charge and can either last 20 minutes or 1+ hours depending on how you ride, weight, etc.The wheels/"suspension" setup are not really good on all-terrain as they advertise, going over small bumps is doable with practice (like, from street to driveway of wood floor to rug) - the ability to go over bumps also depends on the weight of the rider. This thing is really only suitable on relatively flat surfaces, you probably won't want to ride on grass or sidewalks.
