Haven't used this yet but ? It fits and holds lid just inside crock like it says so moisture stays in crock. But it keeps the crock a little bit away from the wall of heated element. I hope this doesn't create a cold spot where lid holder is placed between the 2. I'll find out soon.

The lid holder is made of heaving duty metal and fits perfectly on my oval crockpot and holds the lid well. I like it because of the way the lid is angled when it's on the holder, it allows any water condensation from the lid to drip back into the crockpot and doesn't get the counter all dirty. Easy to use and easy to clean. Highly recommend.

This product works very well and eliminates the puddles on the kitchen counters from dripping lids. We have an oval shaped crock pot with hoop shaped handle on the lid that you stick your finger through to lift. I'm sure that it would work for round crockpots with the knob style lid.

I do love how easy this is to use and that it does indeed work well, however I gave the 3 stars due to it being a little misleading. I thought it came in a 2 pack (I should have read it better, totally my fault) but many others do come in two's and in every step of the order it shows 2 pictured. So just be aware.
