I ordered this manifold set to do the replacement of my evaporator core in my BMW G30. After a lot of research, I decided to pull the trigger on this set. It came only good after I ordered it and when I opened the box, I was immediately satisfied with the quality of the set. It feels and looks well built and the gauges were very easy to see and read. I was able to pull a vacuum on my car with this manifold set for over 8 hours and and charge my system with zero leaks. I had a one point, let it set on my car overnight for about 10 hours after pulling the vacuum and was surprised when I came back to it and it did not leak at all. I was also very impressed with the tool that came on all the hoses that slides down to each side of each hose that gives you leverage to tighten the connections without the need for additional tools. I highly recommend this manifold set for anyone looking to do maintenance on any R1234yf, R134a, or R12 AC system. It does cost a little more that some of the other kits that I found, but remember, many times quality comes with cost and it is worth it!

A buddy of mine bough a Harbor Freight version, then he bought the adapters.I got this set for what it offered, it has every adapter in it you could want, that alone is worth the extra money.This very high-quality has just about everything in it that you could want. Definitely pleased that I bought it!

It works but . Gage is ok at best hoses appear to be decent. Not great but the connectors are absolutely junk. They failed shortly. They leak and the charge hose thing they give you to hook to the Freon cans is an absolute joke.

Would have give this 5stars because it works very well. The only problem is the can tap it comes with is not for self sealing cans. Only works on the older puncture cans that no one sells anymore. I had to run to the parts store to get a self sealing adapter so I could add a little refrigerant to my truck.

First, the overall fit and finish was pretty poor, but that’s expected at this price point. The major issue is that the r1234yf adapters that it comes with can’t be used. The r134a hose ends attach to the charge ports and then screw down to open the charge port schrader valves, like every other gauge set. The adapters do not do this. They are fixed, and press open the schrader valve as you try to connect it, so you release some refrigerant when you try, and then you’re trying to force it to connect against 80-200psi from the AC system. Basically the adapters can’t be used on a charged system, which is pointless. Only buy adapters that can be snapped on and then screwed down to open the charge ports. Again, this can’t be used on r1234yf systems as sold.
